Advantages: Very Quiet, Efficient, Economical, Drying Options to Suit All Loads, Timer Delay Disadvantages: More expensive to buy initially - but worth every penny ! Slightly more creases than other brands .
This Tumbledryer is really superb. I have had Bosch and Hotpoint dryers for the last 15 years and been fairly happy with them. Owning the Miele has made me realise what I could have had for all these years!
The Mieledryer is very efficient and has intelligent sensors. It starts off estimating how long the programme will take but then adjusts its timer to automatically suit the moisture content in the drum. This makes it very economical as it always shortens the time.
I have complete control over the programme cycles. The timer delay allows for cheap rate usage at night with the benefit of the quietest machine I have ever heard. We do not get disturbed in the night at all. The functions for extra dry, normal, hand iron, machine iron and low temperature mean that you choose what condition the washing is in when it comes out. balls! Usually 3 pairs of jeans would take about 1 hour to dry in my dryer and they usually come out very creased......so what happened to them when they were dried accompanied by the dryer balls??
Well the jeans came out perfectly intact, the balls were actually quite soft when they first came out of the tumbledryer, but soon hardened up again. The jeans were dry after only 40 minutes, which I was very impressed with and they definitely weren't quite as creased, although did still need a run over with the iron. Next I decided to test the balls out on my towels. This time I was even more impressed. Again the drying time was cut by about 20 minutes and my towels came out beautifully soft and fluffy. I had to do another wash and dry, this time t-shirts! And yet again super results with the drying time reduced and soft fluffy clothing ...

Excellent, Excellent Excellent!!!....very easy to use....is a condenser dryer so no need for hoses through walls or dangling out of windows!!!
Easy to empty water container. You can time the wash to be dried...but I never do I just set to say extra dry, normal or whatever!!! You can set the machine to beep when dry if you like.....the machine has a built in sensor which senses when the clothes are drying...will light up to say what stage the drying process is in.....Again, Miele....an excellent machine - good value for money and built like a tank!!!.....Also the machine has a lovely drum to hold the clothes, nice and large....so will take a fairly large wash load. You can actually set it to low temperature as well....I find this works well on delicates...This machine has honestly never ever shrunk anything for me.....everything comes ...
