Miele T 8685 C Navitronic

Advantages: very robust and reliable
Disadvantages: pricey!

...This is the second miele dishwasher i have had and the last one i had lasted me twenty two years with only minor repairs! This version also seems to live up to its 'grandads' expectations. This version is extremely easy to use and gets my dishes very clean and has a range of washes with different temperatures, i tend to use the prewash which unfortunatly doesnt heat and then the 85'c wash.The pump is also quite strong and takes away most of the food but it helps sometimes to put it on a wash with nothing in as every so often the food builds up inside of it and ends up on the clean dishes at the end of a cycle. As i said the machine is very robust but incase anything does ever hapen to it, miele call out charge is reasonable but the parts are extremely expensive as i found out when my old dishwasher broke down, i find its cheaper to use... ...The dishwasher is more solid than most others and very robust and reliable. My 3 acquaintances who have it all agree. It is a workhorse, but lags slightly on innovations. It’s Wash Cycles are: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Standard 60oC, Heavy: 85 oC Economy 45 oC and Prewash (no heat) Design ~~~~~ The biggest design advantage is the top loading removable cutlery rack. If you buy 2 (extra £30 for the 2nd) and you either build in a place for it or simply clear a wide drawer for it, then you can simply lift out the whole rack, instead of having to empty it. Apart form this, it does not have some of the nice touches like lift up plate holders. ...Review of Miele S 380 cleaner This is a bagged vacuum cleaner from the manufacturer, Miele. The Ciao photograph shows the product in red however my own is 'Bahama Blue'. I purchased mine to replace a cylinder style cleaner that I use for my static caravan. **The product** The vacuum cleaner is a fairly basic model, it does not come with many attachments, i.e. No pet hair brush, or fragrance pocket for those little air fresheners. The cleaner is fairly quiet running in comparison to my upright cleaner (Dyson) which I use at home. It is ideal for carpeted floors, but I have to admit that I do not find it particularly efficient on longer piled carpets as it is hard work to manoever over anything other than a medium thickness carpet.
