Advantages: Quiet, Water and Energy Saving Features, Easy To Use Disadvantages: Very Heavy, Expensive to Buy.
We have recently become the proud owners of a MieleW1613 washing machine.
It has all the usual programmes with some added options.
The express programme completes a wash in 30 minutes at 40C.
It washes whites perfectly at 60C. Water and energy consumption are determined by the size of the load so when smaller amounts of laundry are washed the automatic load recognition system reduces the amount of water, time and energy used.
The machine is extremely quiet and very easy to use, the estimated programme duration appears in the digital display which counts down to let you know visibly when the cycle will finish (which can be disabled to save energy) there is also the option of a buzzer which sounds when the machine has finished its wash.
This machine has no faults that I can see from a performance point of view but it is very heavy ...

We needed a new washing machine after our AEG machine had gone wrong after only 18 months. We were messed about for two weeks while they tried to fix it but in the end we decided we couldn?t take any more. We went to John Lewis and looked at all the machines and read all information we could find and in the end decided to buy the Miele 3824. While it was at the top end, if not beyond what we wanted to pay the quality and security we got from the 10 year parts and labour warranty made it worth while. We went into the store and ordered it on a Thursday and they arranged a special delivery for Saturday morning.
It took one delivery driver to wheel out the old AEG but two of them with some skill to wheel in the Miele. Out of all the machines we looked at these are the best built and very solid. They are so heavy that one person ...
Advantages: Excellent all round and very easy to use, excellent customer service. Disadvantages: Very heavy thats because of the build quality.
My washing machine has packed in after 15 yrs it was a hoover, but i was curious about which manufacture to go far as appliances of today are made of poor qaulity.I researched and found a manufacturer mentioned many times and renowned for making the best quality washing machines probably in the world.The manufacturer is Miele, i purchased the model W3740.
It has a short cycle option.Very quite while washing and spinning.Excellent range of temperatures and spinning options with abilty to select specific wash temps and spin speeds once the programme has been selected.Good size drum 6kg, and came with free 10yr warranty for parts and labour an excellent deal and made tha intial expensive outlay more the worthwhile, knowing machine should last much longer than the cheaper brands, and the washing of the clothes is excellent i definately ...
