Great advertising but is that the only difference?

Advantages: Different packaging makes it look special.
Disadvantages: Paying extra for the packaging.

...actual differences there were between Cravendale milk and "Standard" blue top. I could come up with absolutely nothing. ALL milk is filtered. It has been filtered since time immemorial. As with"standard" milk, Cravendale milk is pasteurised. Some of the reviewers, wrongly, say it that the filtering is an alternative. It certainly isn't. So what is the difference? As far as I can tell it is the packaging. That is an important factor in how we find ...
...that? It's implied that Cravendale lasts longer. I've just opened a standard blue top milk that is 6 days after its sell-by date and it's fine. O.K. it doesn't cost much more than "standard" milk. I'd almost suggest that if it were really different, then the price differential would be significant. Sorry, can't see how it's "better". ...

Review of Cravendale Milk

Rice or milk that is the Question

Advantages: Dairy free, low fat
Disadvantages: Price availability

What is rice Dream ? Rice dream is a vegetable drink that as the name states is made from rice. Low in fat and cholesterol it is aimed as a replacement to dairy milk. It is naturally low in calcium so this variety of rice dream has added calcium which is about equal to the amount you would get from milk. Rice dream which comes as ice cream as well as milk is usually organic, but the rice dream with added calcium is the only one that is not organic. ...
...replacement. So how would the Rice dream compare in taste and the health benefits to Cravendale. Packaging :~ The packaging is like other longlife milk containers. It is white and blue. Rice Dream is being poured into a glass that trys to make the consumer want to drink some Rice Dream straight away. Calcium is printed in a few places to make sure you do not miss the fact that it has added calcium. One thing that is not on the carton like the otherproducts ...

Review of Rice Dream with Added Calcium

Mmmmmmmilk

Advantages: No nasty chemicals
Disadvantages: Costs a bit more than normal milk

...than the standard ranges. Sainsbury's organic milk doesn't contain any more or less fat than the satndard milk, but somehow tastes creamier. I could just be imagining it, that I want it to taste better so it does, but I drank an entire glass of it last night. So perhaps there is something in it. Things that aren't in the milk are of far better value to tak about. Milk from whatever mammal is almost like a concentrated form of what is inside the ...
...she takes, prescribed or otherwise, are likely to be concentrated in the mothers milk and may be of harm to the baby. Wouldn't the same principle apply to cows? This means that with standard milk, there may be concentrations of all the chemicals and medicines that have been given to the cows. So not only do i think that organic milk of the Sainsburys variety tastes better than standard milk but it also seems to have a much smaller chance of containing ...

It really does taste So Good

Advantages: Tastes great, healthy
Disadvantages: bad carton design; limited availabilty

As soon as I'd swallowed my first few gulps of this silky thick CHOCOLATE FLAVOUR soya milk, I knew exactly why they named it so. I kid you not...it was sooooooo good. I can only speak for the chocolate flavour since it's the only one I've tried (in general, I think plain soya milk is disgusting) but wow, compared to other brands, this one will blow you away. It is thick, smooth, silky, creamy and will leave you wanting more. Some people who are ...
...to drink (not surprising given that it's made from soya beans) and if this is the case for you I can heartily recommend the chocolate flavour to detract from this. This grainyness however, is not obvious, it has a very smooth milky texture, and I would even go as far to to say that it is thicker and creamier than whole milk. Make sure you shake the carton before serving or all the residue will end up left in the bottom and what you pour off will ...

Review of So Good Soya Milk

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE

Advantages: made from soya beans not soya protein
Disadvantages: tastes terrible. very watery very plain.

...Packaging is normal carton. I will never buy it again. Just like many other tesco value range products, i dont think they are good value for money at all. May be the capacity is 1 litre but you dont get enough beans in it, mostly it is water. ...
