Meet Christine, Herbie's Evil Cousin

Advantages: Great suspense and decent plot
Disadvantages: Feels very dated and some of the effects are laughable

What is quite surprising about "Christine" is that the plot to the film is amazingly simple, and revolves purely around just two elements, the transformation of Arnie from nerd to jerk and the car itself which appears to have a rather violent mind of his own. Both of these elements run in tandem, entwining to make the basis of a compelling story where, for the majority of the film, you actually find yourself siding with Arnie instead of his peers who seem to be interfering. Of course a story about restoring an old car and getting annoyed with your friends is not going to be enough to please even the most easily pleased of minds. So tie in a few deaths and a mighty climax of good verses evil and you have a simple but packed movie, which won't require an immense amount of brain power to appreciate it. Dark Melody

Advantages: Wonderful gothic romance
Disadvantages: Want one of those 'Dark' men for myself.

I am a great fan of the works of Christine Feehan. She has written a number of romantic fantasy books about the Carpathian people, a race of human like beings from Romania and Transylvania. They are creatures of the night, but not vampires. Each of the books has the word ‘dark’ in the title and the story is usually based on one of the yummy males of the race. In Dark Melody Dayan is the dark male interest. He is lead guitarist with the Dark Troubadours and tours the globe playing to packed houses. He is not human. “I am Carpathian. We are as old as time, doomed to wander the earth until we make the choice to give up our lives. A worthy sequel that first comes to mind in the console wars

Advantages: Good plot, graphics, polished gameplay
Disadvantages: None

Gears of war 2 is the long awaited sequel to the massive game which helped give the xbox 360 some valuable points in the console war. Years later the sequel does the same where everything has been improved The story is very good by game standards as a professional writer has come on board just for its plot. It carries on from gears of war 1 but can be fully understood by an newbie as well. The gameplay has been polished in all areas and also features more enemies and variety than previous instalments The graphics and sound are top notch with great score kicking in the minute you try and take on a massive enemy. The level design is varied and detailed and one can clearly see bit of wall and ceiling come off after a firefight leaving the steel railings The single player has a good mix and never seems to dull and offers about 10-12 hours ...
