Sony MDS-JE330 - For pro use?

Advantages: Amazing value for money, User Friendly and Fantastic Quality
Disadvantages: Some features can only be done via remote or vice versa. Automatic Track Marking can be a little irritating at times. No Digital Output.

For starters, when you are buying Sony, you can be pretty certain you are buying quality equipment. Having owned and run my own successful recording studio for a few years now, I feel I am in a pretty reasonable position to comment on sound quality. T ...

Decent budget MD player

Advantages: It is Minidisc, not bad sound
Disadvantages: Cheap made, no digital out

...I paid £100 for this about 4 years ago, it is not a bad player but it misses a few useful features. It has a plastic case and fascia rather than the usual Sony aluminium, and the remote is standard budget Sony. Sound quality is basically quite good, ...

Advantages: Good features

I got my Aiwa AM-F65 soon after it was released. A year ago it was relatively cheap (£170), and had all the features of the most expensive minidisc recorders, such as a 40 second anti-shock memory, 10 hour battery life for playback (most new players are ...
