miniclip.com is a superb site if you're bored, and you're looking for something to do on the internet. I particularly like Miniclip, in that it provides you with TOP TEN games, which is where I normally go upon visiting.
The LOOK and FEEL to the site is very modern. Having this contemporary look enhances the professionalism of the company, which, in the main part, provides you with great FREE games.
It arranges the online games into various sections too, including politics and retro. Don't worry though - if you're thinking "Politic games? Forget that!", well don't forget it. Look, how do you fancy watching George Bush and John Kerry fight - not so political really, just FUNNY! I quite like the game 'Bush Royal Rampage' in which George Bush and the Queen battle it out as chaos breaks out in London.
Admittedly, the game has a slight American slant, as can be seen from the likes of George Bush and John Kerry games. But the sheer volume of games can easily pull you away from the feeling of US-rule again!
Games pop up quite frequently on the website, which adds to the already large database of games. You can also opt to receive e-mails informing you of new games on Miniclip - unsubscribing from this is incredibly easy, and you don't need to worry about spam: this is a trusted company in my eyes.
Miniclip quotes: "Miniclip.com - the world leader in online games." .......... Well, we can't always believe what we read, and some would disagree - I wouldn't argue though. If you just look at the homepage, you'll immediately notice this is a respected, professional online games outlet.
I have visited miniclip.com for some time now, and, I'll repeat, the look of the site really is modern. It has super games on the site, yet by no way has it skimped on its brand image. It now has a toolbar you can download, and keep your favourite 'miniclips' in.
Fairly recently, Miniclip started to introduce users to multiplayer games. These games gave a completely new face to Miniclip, and today many people battle it out in RobotRage! This is currently the top game on the website. I should warn you though, those of you who are on slower connections/PCs will have to wait a bit, get a cup of tea, drink it and wash it up before this game loads!
I really like Crypt Raider, it's very addictive, and you're sure to be using a pen and paper to take notes of those passwords! I tend to just take a look on the site, see what takes my fancy and play it - 99% of the time, I'm not disappointed - they're just great games!
On a negative view of the site, it does display a considerable amount of advertising. It has also recently entered the cash prize market, which somehow makes me feel like miniclip is fast becoming more of a commercial website, in it for the money. Let's face it, they wouldn't run the site for nothing, and I don't mind the odd advert here and there. But its entry into the cash games market dents its FREE game image it once held so proudly.
Overall, I'll give it 4 stars for the sheer wealth and enjoyment of FREE games you get out of the website. A little less cashing in, and I'd probably be smiling that little bit more.

I'm not a gamer - so I'd probably get bored - the only website I still consistently return to after over a year of visiting - for interest and variety - as well as a cash incentive - is Ciao! - ♥ - jes ≈≈≈≈{; -)-{{::::: |||||<
