...I recently purchased this audio system after being recommended by a friend to its amazing sound quality and its DAB enabled radio. This enables better sound quality and amazingly information to be shown on the LCD screen about the radio station e.g. Station telephone no., signal level, date and time and also any extra information that the radio station chooses. Not only is it a rado, it also has an amaing quality CD reader, with this system you can adjust the bass, and treble, set a timer -that can be used as an alarm for the radio or cd to start and using the remote control the system provides ultimate comfort while changing tracks/stations while keeping your comfy lifestyle. The system also allows you to create your own playlist, inn which you can choose the tracks you want to listen to off an inserted CD and then you can repeat... Read review

Advantages: Easy to see at night, SD/MMC card Slot, USB input.
Disadvantages: No AUX in, minor but no twisty dial.

...The MOSCA089 is the perfect in care stereo for those who are bored of the old CDs...with a SD/MMC card slot and USB input it truly makes listening to your whole music library much easier. Though the wattage isn't top of the range, it is still excellent (4x40W) and the sound quality is superb, as long as the song you have is recorded in good condition. First up, the CD player, excellent, press a button and the panel folds down to reveal the CD slot, but wait, wont this stop play whilst i change CD...NO! the player keeps playing even when folded. Very neat! The quality of the CD player is stunnign as long as your speakers can handle the base this thing puts out. Next, the SD/MMC card slot....my preferred method. First of all you need to put the songs on the card, simply transfer them on using your PC. With 4GB cards now cheaply... Read review

Advantages: Sound quality, Clear LCD, MP3 playback on CD player
Disadvantages: LCD overly bright in standby for use in bedroom.

...Looks nice and decent sound quality. Pretty easy to use and reception seems pretty good. LCD is clear and bright and gives all the information you'd expect/want about current station. It plays MP3 tracks from CDs according to the manual (this isn't a feature I've ever used - so I can't comment on its effectiveness). The only drawback is that even when in standby - the LCD gives off a fair amount of ambient light - sufficient to be annoying in a bedroom when you've switched the lights off to try and get some sleep. (You can turn it off at the back with a switch - but then it forgets the time and obviously can't be used as a clock radio!) So it's probably more suited to a lounge.... Read review
