Minolta E223 is a very good camera to start off in the world of digital photography. reasonably priced for a 2 megapixel camera. Simple to use but has all the necesacary functions for the beginner.. All functions can be found on easy to use menu. really need to use rechargchable batteries as it will go through ordinary batteries very quickly, however the ability to turn off the LCD screen will save on battery power. In bright sunlight the LCD screen is difficult to see but this probably will happen on most cameras. All in all this is a really good camera, not to complicated but can produce really good pictures. however advanced users will want a camera with more megapixels but for general day to day use this camera cant be beaten. it does not come with its own case but is a fairly standard size so finding one to fit is not a problem
