I was lucky enough to receive a Minolta Dynax 5 SLR camera for my 21st Birthday! As a novice to photograpy I was pleased to discover this SLR camera could be fully automatic. This helped me greatly until I had enough knowledge to take more control of the creative process and actually telling the camera what to do. This camera is great for a novice because it nutures your enthusiasm for photography and helps you to develop.

This camera has a traditional design. I prefer it to other cameras which are all silver e.g. Canon EOS3000N with 28-90 Lens (non-USM)
