Weak Flash 3 of 6 Ciao Users found the following review helpful

Advantages Small, Compact and Sleek

Disadvantages Not good for indoor or nighttime pictures

I have just received my pictures back from Las Vegas and I am very disappointed with the quality of the indoor and night-time shots. The pictures have come out extremely dark and are an indication that the flash on this camera is very weak. The pictures taken were in Las Vegas, which is a very bright city at night, but it appears it was not bright enough to compensate for the poor quality of the flash.

One of the reasons why I choose this camera was its functionality, however the QUALITY of the night pictures has let it down alot. Even disposable cameras seem to have a stronger flash than this camera and previous night-time pictures taken with a disposable camera have come out much better.

Purchase with caution and only if you can return it back to the retailer. If you take alot of outdoor day time shots then this camera is ideal otherwise stay away.

PRICE: £120.00

SPECS: APS; 24mm-70mm 3x Zoom Lens; Compact, smooth body with metal exterior. Built in Flash with the usual features such as Autoflash with red-eye reduction, Night Portrait, and Landscape/Night View modes, Autoflash, Fill-flash, and Flash Cancel modes.

PICTURE QUALITY:

Night pictures - very dark to the extent that you cannot see people or buildings clearly or not at all, pictures look like one big blur. If in Night Portrait mode then be warned YOU WILL NEED a tripod as pictures come out VERY blurry. Something to do with Shutter Speed increasing to let more light in, but resulting in a blurry picture if hands not very steady!

Indoor pictures - flash is unable to compensate for 'normal' indoor lighting resulting in daytime pictures with windows allowing sufficient light in to look like they were taken in the middle of the night with only a torch for company! Again a clear indication that the manufacturer has cut corners on the power or quality of the flash.

Outdoor pictures - these are more focused and bright on clear days. If however the day is cloudy day they will also come out like indoor pictures.

You will need to add quite a bit more information about this camera such as features, specs, appearance, size and pricing. I see this is your first op. Welcome to Ciao and try to update (edit) and leave a message in my GB and I'll gladly have a look at it again and possibly re-rate - Vinod
