...I've owned this camera for about four years. I bought it after reviewing other cameras in the same price bracket and although the first company I tried to buy it from told me it would be too heavy for a woman (it weighs about 1.5 lbs) I was going from a non-digital SLR that was much heavier. I have never regretted my decision to buy it. The functions are easy to understand and the convenient storage on a CD-RW makes transfer to the computer very straightforward. The macro function is excellent and taking a very close photo of flower is a piece of cake. The results are truly professional. It will take a good photo in all light conditions with or without the flash and for really dark situations it has a projected light grid that shows where the centre of the screen is. I would thoroughly recommend it....

..., and still offered plenty of editing options. Put in the CD, and it basically leads you through the install in simple steps. When you are ready to upload pictures, plug in the USB, turn the camera on, and your pictures are uploaded quickly and easily.
There are obviously some disadvantages of this camera:
The zoom on this camera I don't like. I find it hardly zoomed in, and when it does, the picture quality is poor- very grainy. I also found that action shots and zoom shots don't turn out the best on this camera.
There was one main thing that bugs me a little with this camera and that was occasionally that once you've taken a photo and you go back into the review mode to see it again when you use the digital zoom the camera sometimes freezes to the point where you have to turn the camera off. The greatest single feature of this camera is its CD-RW capabilities. This new model allows you to take pictures and have you record them directly to CD. It also has a finalization and initiation feature, so you can delete pictures without having them permanently burned onto the CD. Furthermore, with a mini-CDRW you have even more flexibility with what pictures you keep, without spending more money on more discs.
