Advantages: Accurate, Good Value for money, uses SD cards Disadvantages: Poor battery life
...When purchasing the MioP550 I was after a navgation system that could easily be put in my car then arriving at my destination easily fitting in my pocket for security.
The MioP550 is a nice shape and size meaning it does fit nicely in your pocket unlike most brick shaped GPS systems you tend to find.
What is even better is its also a PDA, so not just will it tell you where to go, it will be your personal organiser, your mp3 player, your mobile internet. So many great features on one small device!

If you choose to however you could purchase TomTom software and easily install it...

Better than most GPS dedicated units, in my experience
Some PDA's are sleaker some are faster, but virtually no other model in this price range offers so much for so little. It can handle almost any add on game's, applications and software you care to throw at it and together with the included car kit, have the perfect solution to the modern car - Total Satalite Navigation!!
I use my Mio every day and have never found it to be slow, even though i use fast technical equipment all day - it keeps up with the best of them! I also use mine as an MP3 player, as the SD/MMC expansion slot...
