Misery is by far my favourite book by Stephen King. It is very well written and although there aren’t many characters they are built up very well and it is easy to imagine that you are the writer who is held captive. It has all the suspense and excitement of the film and is every bit as good. If you have seen the film and enjoyed it, I would recommend you also read the book. I sometimes find Stephen King books too drawn out and long, but Misery is not like that. The whole book is excellent. Once started it’s very hard to put down!

Sorry for the low rating but I thought your review was too short and lacked detailed information on the plot, characters, pace etc. If you edit let me know and I would be happy to re-rate it for you. A real page-turner I agree, I couldn't put it down either. Ellie.
