King at his best! If you have not seen the film - even if you have - get the book! This is Stephen King at his brilliant best! Taking a situation that is just about possible and making it into a compelling story which almost makes you want to call out to the main character Paul Shelden..."Quick quick! She’s coming!!" It is almost excruciating in places, as you feel that you should be able to do something to help! An excellent book that you will want to read again, and will make you want to see the film too! Thanks Stephen!

Sorry for the low rating but I thought your review was a little bit short and didn't go into much depth about the plot, characters, pace of story etc. If you edit let me know and I would be happy to re-rate it for you. This is a great book though, I found it truly gripping. Ellie.

Advantages: A nice gripping and readable novel ; A terrific tale of survival ; Very atmospheric ; The characters thoughts and feelings are projected well to the reader Disadvantages: Suddenly stops flowing towards the middle ; King can be slightly over obsequious towards the main character
