Miss Sporty Lasting Colour Nail Polish

I first picked this up in Superdrug a few years ago now because the colour caught my eye-bright pink! Looking at the price I knew I definitely had to buy it as it was only £1.99. For that price I thought it didnt matter how quickly it chipped.

I have been a big fan of painting and personalising my nails since a very young age. My eldest sister always had beautiful long nails that she was forever painting different colours so I think it rubbed off on me and when I was at secondary school I would think it was odd if I went one day without changing the colour of my nails!

The colour I bought was in the 'clubbing colours' range and they claim that it dries in just 1 minute. I dont tend to believe this as in past experience products that claim this are never that quick to dry! The bottle is round in shape and has a white lid/brush handle. I remember my sister having some Miss Sporty nail varnish about 15 years ago and the bottle was extremely similar so it looks a little retro!

Opening the bottle I was glad to see a good sized brush with no loose hairs. The brush is black and the bristles look of a good quality and are made of a type of thin plastic.

Applying it to my nails I was instantly shocked. It provided thick colour and even coverage, I was really impressed. I painted the rest of my nails and then touched the first one to see how long I needed to leave them for. In answer to that, I didnt, it was already dry.

The colour was thick, bright and showed none of the imperfections in my nails. I was really impressed with this and was very happy. I only applied one coat of this which I think is a first for me.

After having the polish on for 24 hours I had no chips or scuffs. The colour remained bright and very shiny and two friends at uni told me how nice my nails looked, they were suprised when I told them the price!

The polish lasted perfectly for about three days but often I have left this on for up to two weeks without them looking terrible and them just having a few minor chips.

I have about 10 colours from this range now and when looking for a new nail colour it is always the first brand I go to because I know I will find a great colour for a fab price which will cover well, dry quickly and last well.

I recommend this nail varnish 100% because it is absolutely brilliant!
