Advantages: Outstanding Value, good looks, would fit into many rooms well, easy to drive Disadvantages: Some have problems with unglueing of baffles
...Well I have to say I'm incredibly impressed with the sound of the 702e. Boomy bass can be a problem, but the simple answer is to move them further from the back wall, and especially further away from corners if possible. I found that even a movement of a cm made a big difference. Get them set up properly, and bass is tight and punchy, and treble is fairly good.
Treble can be a little scrambled or blurred, but this problem was alleviated when I bi-wired with some Gale XL189 cable. Immidiately treble is much sharper and detailed. Transparency is improved, as you can hear detail in the mid range, without messing up other frequancies.
The Bass extension is very impressive - when I tested them with some frequancy generating software, you could easily take them to 40Hz, if not 36Hz without noticing any appriciable "drop-off".

Advantages: Good Picture and Excellent Sound. Easy to set up with lots of features Disadvantages: Occasional picture freeze (see review) when TV tends to re-set itself (probably due to broadcast conditions though)
...I have been resisting switching over to digital television since it first appeared. And as far as I was concerned, the TFT televisions were to be avoided until all the niggling problems were ironed out. After getting back to (almost) normal after my heart attack, I decided it was time to "bite the bullet" and get a TFT. A 32-inch model would be about the best size for our lounge so that's what I opted for and, being a Sony fanatic, Sony it had to be. Our last Sony (CRT) television had been with us for 10 years or more and had never given any problems and the same can be said for our Sony video recorder.
I was surprised to find out that receiving digital was not without it problems. Firstly, you cannot record one channel and watch another, but I am digressing here from the actual TV… Enter the Sony Bravia. KDL-32S2010.

Advantages: Good value, good number of connections, good picture, lighter than CRT. Good for gaming consoles. Disadvantages: HD compatible only, No Digital TV tuner, Pedestal stand provided only, No Dolby Digital.
...connection. It has connections for a wall bracket, but this is not included and you need a solid coffee table or stand to sit it on. The 60,000 hr lifespan relates to its backlight. This figure only applies to the backlight mid. setting. I found my own settings for the backlight better than the automatic sensor or OPC, although this is a clever feature. The sound is good although i would have liked to have Dolby Digital/DTS. With a 32" screen you are getting into the realms of home Cinema and a seperate sound system would be ideal but not entirely neccesary....
