Mission m34i reveled
Review of Mission M34 by  cksmith75

Advantages: Weight (per cabinet) 17.8Kg, or 39.3lbs. Twin 165mm DiaDrive bass units. Viotex fabric dome treble unit . Also the mission m34 speaker unti has a port that can be filled with sand to increase the wieght by each speaker by 5kg
Disadvantages: Unless filled with sand sound quality can be slightley hollow feeling. slightley thin for how tall the unit is.

...The Mission m34i design has simpley came from missions highley sucsessful range of floor standing speakers. the mission m34i speakers come with a massive sensitivity of 92db with a frequency responce of 44khz- 20,000 hz. Now for the price of this unit you wouldent expect to have so much for so little money. I managed to pick up a pair for just 225 pound. ive had them for a month and the only things i found that the unit lacked in was bass which unfortuntley was a fairley big disapointment to me but once i put the sand in to the unit it did become more bassy it suprising how a little added weight can change the sound so much but i have seen speakers that produce more bass but if your going for sound quality over bass then these are defintley your speakers the acoustical effects are just heavenly. here are all the specs... Mission M34i
Review of Mission M34 by  nath2580

Advantages: Excellent timing and acoustics, warm solid low end
Disadvantages: Can take a while to run in

...Bought these speakers from Superfi 2 weeks ago and was delighted with the service i received from them. i had waited 3 months for these speakers to go with the M3AS subwoofer and M30i rear speakers which I had already purchased due to Mission being in administration. the wait was more than worth it. First listen was rather dull as expected, but playing at a background level for around 8-12 hours totally changed the sound. The sound became lively and natural with fantastic vocals and bass. Do make sure that you have room to accommodate these units as they are tall and deep. Are available in three finishes including black, beech and cherry. They can also be bi-wired which i would recommend to unleash the full potential of the acoustics. Added on the 24/8/06 Hi all, after reading you much welcomed comments on my review I felt i... Mission 702e
Review of Mission 702e by  rabw

Advantages: Outstanding Value, good looks, would fit into many rooms well, easy to drive
Disadvantages: Some have problems with unglueing of baffles

...Well I have to say I'm incredibly impressed with the sound of the 702e. Boomy bass can be a problem, but the simple answer is to move them further from the back wall, and especially further away from corners if possible. I found that even a movement of a cm made a big difference. Get them set up properly, and bass is tight and punchy, and treble is fairly good. Treble can be a little scrambled or blurred, but this problem was alleviated when I bi-wired with some Gale XL189 cable. Immidiately treble is much sharper and detailed. Transparency is improved, as you can hear detail in the mid range, without messing up other frequancies. The Bass extension is very impressive - when I tested them with some frequancy generating software, you could easily take them to 40Hz, if not 36Hz without noticing any appriciable "drop-off". I...
