Mission M 30 I

Advantages: cheaper end of the market, technically good, looks smart.
Disadvantages: dont get it wet!

... Foehn & Hirsch M30 glide MP5 player Yes yo are hearing me right! This, like a load of other players out their, claims to be some kind of weird and wonderful, new technology! I, for one, had never previously heard of MP5. Suddenly, they are all over the place. Ebay is full of the. But what are they? well the truth of the matter is that they are an MP3/MP4 player. Nothing new, or exciting. The claims are that an MP5 player can play file without the need for conversion. Forgive me if I am wrong, but have good MP4 players not been doing this for what seems like centuries? It seems to me, that this is nothing more than an advertising gimmick. Something primarily used to try and make the unbranded players look more competitive, in todays saturated media player market. So, before you think of buying any player, please ignore... Read review

Advantages: Weight (per cabinet) 17.8Kg, or 39.3lbs. Twin 165mm DiaDrive bass units. Viotex fabric dome treble unit . Also the mission m34 speaker unti has a port that can be filled with sand to increase the wieght by each speaker by 5kg
Disadvantages: Unless filled with sand sound quality can be slightley hollow feeling. slightley thin for how tall the unit is.

...Bought these speakers from Superfi 2 weeks ago and was delighted with the service i received from them. i had waited 3 months for these speakers to go with the M3AS subwoofer and M30i rear speakers which I had already purchased due to Mission being in administration. the wait was more than worth it. First listen was rather dull as expected, but playing at a background level for around 8-12 hours totally changed the sound. The sound became lively and natural with fantastic vocals and bass. Do make sure that you have room to accommodate these units as they are tall and deep. Are available in three finishes including black,beech and cherry.
