As part of a compact system for a 3m x 3m lstening room, I auditioned several packages and selected Mission M31i's to partner my Denon DF101 system. I have been delighted with the choice. Mounted on Mission Stancette stands and connected to my DF101 with Supra Rondo biwire cable, these speakers give a full, rich and detailed sound, with suprisingly good bass performance for the compact size. They also look very smart. I have the beech finish but others are available. The only disadvantages is that as the bass ports are located at the rear, they need to be some distance away from the back wall to avoid any booming. Mine are fine at approximately 40 cm from the wall. Highly recommended
