Buying a 19" flat screen monitor is not such an easy task as you probably think. You see, once you accept the fact that you are going to be spending a substantial amount of money on something relatively state of the art, it seems as if every well known brand (as well as a few you have probably never heard of) wants a piece of your hard earned cash. Compared to its former brother the 900u this monitor produces much higher contrast levels, even stronger colours and the whites are really white! The sharpness is really something and is almost LCD like in crispness. A new Fine Picture Mode (FPM) has been added which enhances contrast but a slight trade off is the fact that it doesn't pick up subtle graduations in colour as well.
