Technology today in my opinion is absolute sensational. It’s exciting to think what they will bring out on the market next. But something keeps on telling me that they are holding back on a great deal to make as much money as possible. Over the years we have seen the world of computers establish itself more and more with ideas for the future to blow us away. But I am impatient and think to myself why cat they invent things like they do in futuristic films. I know its silly but don't you think that would be remarkable.
The market for computers has gone from strength to strength releasing some mind whopping technology as well some fancy monitors.
* Mitsubishi Diamond pro 930 SB * So what is all the fuss about this particular monitor you may be asking? With its superior screen display and dynamic cabinet design, this monitor brings you to the forefront of technology. High performance and advanced technology collide for the ultimate visual experience. It is a CRT display and is 19 inches with an 18-inch viewable screen. In plain terms if you look at the inside of the screen it is 18 inches from side to side. It also weighs 52.5 lbs so be careful when lifting
this monitor up.
The Flat screen provides a high resolution, while reducing any glare, and the NaViSet software allows you to adjust screen settings using your mouse and keyboard. The Max resolution is 1920x1440 @ 73Hz and the good thing about this monitor is its available with Spectra View Color Calibration Solution for accurate, consistent and repeatable color performance. This is easy to manage and gives you a lot more options for better viewing.
It is easy to install this monitor, as it is a plug and play device, which you will find most new monitors today are. To simplify that it just means that when you get this monitor and plug it in to you pc and connect it all up , windows then detects a new monitor and you follow the process to install the drivers. Then in the future if you take the monitor out of the pc then put it back on it will work straight away.
You are given a three year warranty with this but it is a massive let down, let me tell you why. When you purchase something you always get some kind of warranty, which basically is where if the item you have purchased goes wrong in any way you can have it replaced considering it is still under warranty. It doesn’t usually say you have to package it up and send it off to get another one. But this is the problem faced with this particular monitor. So this can be a tad bit expensive if anything does go wrong.
The Mitsubishi diamond has impressive and high specifications as well as a very attractive exterior full of charisma which is matched by its level of overall performance. This is one for the style-conscious. This monitor isn't just for the classy business people out there. It is also great for personal use at home and certainly something to brag about to your friends and family. Its sleek, its sassy and to notch it up it’s cutting edge.
*Design: Looking good! *
This conventional looking monitor sports a chunky exterior if your looking from the side but from the front it is a flat screen making everything appear in your face. You have a choice of standard analogue D-SubVGA or digital-only DVI-D, and there's a button on the bezel for toggling between them if you are using the monitor with two input devices.
* Features *
You can easily control and manage the monitors features by the easy accessible buttons at the front. Unlike a lot of monitors where big chunky buttons can make it look messy and untidy this is the complete opposite. The buttons are a reasonable size but blend well giving it a very nice contrast. Here is a quick run down of the buttons going from left to right: -
Exit – Self-explanatory Left arrow - navigation Right arrow - navigation Minus - screen settings Plus - screen settings A select button - toggles super bright mode on/off Reset – self-explanatory
With one simple touch of the buttons, you are presented with an on screen display (OSD). This is a small, white dialogue box, which you can easily exit at any time.
* Image quality *
I found the image quality to be very bright, with the colours both being vibrant and even. I also noticed that the width of the screen was being pushed against the range of horizontal viewing angles slightly, so that unless the monitor is viewed from exactly dead centre, the edge furthest away was fractionally darker. This isn't a big disaster and isn't easily recognisable unless you stare at it trying to find it.
* Important note *
You should always check the box when you purchase a new monitor to make sure you have everything you are supposed to have.You should make sure you have all of the following :-
The Monitor Power cord Captive Signal Cable User Manual on a CDRom (16 pages and in adobe format)
If you don’t have all of this in the box get on to where you purchased it from and make sure you get it. These are all essentials to make the monitor work apart from the manual but if you don’t know how to work the monitor then it is an essential in a way.
* Price *
I had a look on the Internet to compare prices and there was a wide range of prices with the most expensive being £301 but if you shop around especially in the sales you could get it cheaper. I have seen it for £260 in a computermagazine so if you are considering on purchasing one of these use different sources to find the best price. Don’t let the price tag put you off though because it is definitely worth every penny.
I really like this monitor. After seeing it for the first time I fell in love with it. I hope to buy one soon so im saving up for it at the moment.The reason why I like this monitor so much is because of the look and feel of it.When you turn it on, the screen is bulging out and its in your face. On older monitors or cheaper versions, the screen looks plain and boring with no real pizzazz about it what so ever.
I think the graphics are nothing short of remarkable.The good thing is that you can change it to how you want it.Also the case is mouth watering and words just cant describe the feel of it.

Well there you have it. A nice piece of technology for a reasonable price. It’s not the best on the market out there at the moment but this is definitely one to consider.It has all the essentials and more giving you the ultimate experience for watching movies, surfing the internet to just typing up documents. So this is for absolute every body. You wont be disappointed I can guarantee that!
