    If you want lots of technical detail and peformance figures this op is not for you. I write from the perspective of an older female driver who wants to get from A to B in safety, comfort and without breaking the bank. I downsized from a 2 litre Volvo Estate when I no longer needed it for a work horse so there were a few differences to accommodate! My Space Star is still quite powerful for its size, with a responsive 1.8 litre engine. It has delivered an average of 42mpg over its first year and has cost nothing in repairs or replacements.
