Anyway, i opened it up, looked at it and ... ...did i know that in a hour, i would be thinking what a fantastic value mobile phone i had been given, hearing about people buying phones for £200 and thinking they got a bargain, they had not seen nothing until they see this little beauty.

Christmas day came, and i opened up my new mobile, knowing what it was 2 weeks in advance, having asked my girlfriend to get me a new one as my old one had accidentally got smashed to pieces :( sniff sniff. Anyway, i opened it up, looked at it and thought yes, this would do nicely i suppose, but little did i know that in a hour, i would be thinking what a fantastic value mobile phone i had been given, hearing about people buying phones for £200 and thinking they got a bargain, they had not seen nothing until they see this little beauty.
The first thing you notice is the size, it is very small, but perfectly formed, so to speak, the numbers are nicely laid out on the front, with the ring and hang up buttons also nicely placed, the LCD is as good as any other i have seen, apart from the coloured phones of course.
So i turn it on, and i start to look around the phone, the first thing i notice is the graphics, simple black and white but nice and tidy. So i am reading through the manual and i come to the section about the tones, I decide to take a look, so i go down to settings, into phone settings and then finally into tones, i have 3 choices, i have either alert tones, melodies or volume.
I firstly try the volume, and in here you have 5 choices, i choose the choice ring volume, which is at full, so i try it to see how loud it is, and it is pretty loud indeed, but i also noticed that is was a vibrating phone as well, which for £30 i did not think i would be getting including in the package, so i was very impressed. next i decided to choose a tone for when my friends, when they get my new number, to phone me. i go through them all, and there is a lot to choose from, from a simple ring, to a melody called simply canon, it is based on a melody by a composer, but i have not got a clue which one, so i cannot explain how good it is LOL. also i listen and think that is clear and very nice, so i go back to the manual and sure enough, to my delight, it is a polyphonic ringtone phone, so for £30 i get, a vibrating polyphonic ringtone phone, that looks good, and is as far as i can tell at the moment, very very good.
So i decide to try to use the WAP application that is on this phone, again which i was suprised to find, I ring up the help line to find out how much it would cost to connect to the web, and i find it is the same as a standard call, so i decide to try it, within 5 seconds or so i am connected, great i am thinking, this is awesome little phone, but then i am thinking, how come i can connect, i have not put any credit on the phone, so i ask my girlfriend, and she says she has not put nothing on it either...
So i go back to the manual, and see that if i type in 789, which takes me to my account, and check my balance, to my amazement, i am told i have over £14 left, so i come to the conclusion that i must have had £15 on the phone as well. So let me asses this, I got a Polyphonic Ringtone Phone which included vibration, WAP enabled and also £15 of calling credit for £30, now i am not saying i am clever, but i know that is one hell of a bargain for a Mobile Phone no matter what.
So my final task is to try to set up the Address Book, so i am looking at how to do this, and to my amazement it is simple as, ermmmmm, writing this LOL. you press right on the keypad, then down once, you come to phone book, and then you press the selct button and store, enter the name of the person, and enter there phone number, nothing could be simpler.
So there you have it, a massively underpriced Mobile Phone, that is fantastic to use. The Battery is awesome as well. I only have to recharge it once or twice a week, if i only get on average a 10 minute call twice a day, which is good b for a battery i think.
So there is my review of a phone, i first thought would be an alright kinda phone, but it turned out to be a phone that has everything you ever need, including which i forgot to mention games, and menu graphics, of which i have a dolphin, well they are cute are they not..... :)
Advantages: Great features and price Disadvantages: No photos
Having owned numerous mobile telephones over a the last few years, some that fell to earth with a crash and died there and then, some that simply wore out, others that got lost or just weren't up to the job ,I stumbled across my little Trium 110,a phone that was going to prove my longest owned phone to date and the most practical and loveable.

Advantages: Very light, small, and with a very loud speaker Disadvantages: Few games, no more downloadables, and the wap service is very poor
This phone was my first real phone, bar one that I was given for a short period of time. It was only cheap, and cost me 20 quid at the time, plus 15 pounds worth of top up vouchers. It came with the Virgin services.
It is a simple enough phone to look at; dark grey and silver in colour, with a small black and white screen with a faint backlight. It has no ariel, and no flippy out bits. It is curved, and very small and light.
The screen is small, ... ...to games and menus and the like. However, as the wap function does not let you view images, and you can not download new games, this is kinda wasted.
The sound quality is very good as well; this is the only mobile phone I have ever owned that has a speaker phone on it. The quality of it is very good, and it is also louder than most household speaker phones. The ringtones it supports are both mono and polyphonic, and again, are very clear.

Advantages: Eustace does not approve Disadvantages: I'm quite the mod in chambers
As a High Court judge, during trials I often hear about some of the new-fangled artefacts of the modern age. Some recent cases have involved the use of mobile, or cellular phones, and I became intrigued by what they might be like. I asked my young nephew Eustace to procure a (modestly-priced) example of the genre so that I could familiarise myself with these curious devices.
Eventually he produced a little apparatus called a 'Trium'. As a Latin ... ...'triumvirate', relating neatly to the tribunals upon which I sit. So it is very aptly named, if nothing else. He said he purchased it from an Amazon, although why a South American female warrior should purvey such goods, I know not. The price: £39.99, seemed eminently reasonable. So let's hear it for those redoubtable fighters.
The device is small and admirably light, although the little buttons are slightly fiddly to my palsied digits. It is made ...

Advantages: Cheap, small and stylish phone Disadvantages: Options could be more logically set out on menus
I bought one of these for £40 in October to replace an antiquated pay as you go phone; when I had my phone stolen in January, I bought another one to replace it. It was still the best cheap phone I could find on Virgin mobile; it's small, fairly light, and looks more expensive than it is. The battery lasts and recharges fine. I do worry about what would happen if I dropped it though...!
On the downside, some of the menus can be a bit hard to navigate ...

Advantages: weight Disadvantages: data transfer rate
The Siemens c35 is a mobile intenet Wap compatible phone, aesthetically it is quite pleasing with a simple button layout and an imposing silhouette. The two most useful buttons are the top navigation buttons, they allow many hours of useful internet surfing which are possible with the battery talktime of 500 minutes, this compares very favourably to the MitsubishiTrium Geo which has only three hours of talktime. It is also one of the lightest W A P phones available at only 110g, the call quality is always excellent which is a bonus. ...

The intuitive phone with amazing sound, thanks to its unique polyphonic ringtones. At only 90 grams, it's ultra-light, with a compact design and modern metallic finish. Its internal antenna and round shape make it comfortable to carry around, and with its built-in hands-free facility, it's so easy to use. The vibrating alert means it's discreet, but always there when you need it.
