At the moment i have 4 non pedigree cats.
to me they are my soul companions they can always tell when your down and sad, and they always shower you with love.
My 4 cats are my life i have fizzgig who is 8.
Gollum who is 7.
neo who is 9 months .
Matrix who is 10 months.
they have all come to me for various reasons.
fizzgig was rescued from a family who kept him in small bathroom with his litter mates who were dying.
Gollum was a stray that i started to feed and now he is a fully fledged member of the family.
neo was a present for my birthday but she doesnt like humans much but does give in for a cuddle.
matrix was from a friend who just couldnt find a home for her.
cats have little in the way of needs .
food
litter tray
toys.
and lots and lots of cuddles and love.
And veterinary attention if needed.
i have been told by various people that moggies are not as nice as pedigree cats but i think its a load of nonsens they are just as loving as a pedigree and they all have their own little characters.
if you are thinking of getting a cat or kitten you can generally get a non pedigree for free from friends or adverts from local papers but dont for get to check out the animal shelters.

I have much loved Moggy's too! They are loads of fun and are both totally different. Dx

I've got two mogs - one boy, one girl and I love them both to bits. My sister in law has two pedigrees and she's had nothing but problems with them. They're so highly strung and nervous and seem to suffer from every cat disease under the sun! But, at the end of the day, I don't think it matters whether they're pedigree or moggy, just as long as they're cared for :-) Jackie

Nothing wrong with Moggy's and - completely unrelated - my first cat was called Bagpuss. God I want to be 4 again.
