this used to be the magazine that i used to get but i couldnt afford to pay out for a magazine every week because of my very tight budget.its a good magazine full of helpful make up tips and advice.the articles are interesting and lively and the cover always looks good to but this magazine would suit younger teenage girls rather than older teenagers.the price is good too but this is not my favourite magazine. they could probably improve it by making ...

Advantages: Reasonably priced and good content Disadvantages: Free gifts are normally very poor quality
Most teenage girls will have a favourite magazine which they buy read regularly. Well mine was Mizz until I was about 13, but then I found that I had grown out of that. So Shout was what I started to read next. Similar to Mizz, but a bit more grown up, Shout contains all the usual features of a girls magazine, and is age appropriate making sure it does not upset any parents.
Shout is like a teen version of Take A Break magazine, which was the next regular magazine I started to read upon outgrowing Shout. It uses the same idea for competitions, where you send all of your answers in on one form. This saves you money on those expensive competition hotlines.
There is a letters page, like the ones found in all magazines, with prizes for the best letters written.
Each issue offers a free gift, which are almost always very low quality ...
Advantages: good value for money, packed celeb gossip, advice, fashion etc etc Disadvantages: there isn't any!
's only a few pages long and theres advice from a boys point of view and it's all about boys really. Theres also an interview with a famous guy celebrity.
The Magazine
I have been collecting Sugar for quite a while now and I haven't changed the magazine I read since, before I read Sugar I was reading Mizz which I thought was too young for me and I haven't had one problem with Sugar.
The issue I am reviewing has 139 pages. On the front cover theres a picture of Cheryl Coal, the interview is with Cheryl for this issue, the main writing is a mint green colour, a neon yellow colour, white, black and pink. The cover advertises all the really interesting that are contained in the magazine.
Druggie cheerleader
"I pop pills before practise"
