Jibber-Jabber-Jabra, just gotta have ya
Advantages: Good call quality, battery life and keeps you legal Disadvantages: Can't but help look a bit daft behind your ear
...Vodafone offered me a free Jabra BT205 when I upgrade my phone a couple of years back, it was difficult to say no, and I very soon came to use the thing all the time. The 205 was a decent little headset and something I used frequently when going on longer journeys (which I do almost every weekend during the winter to play hockey).
It was on one such outing that I managed to lose my little 205, so just before Christmas I bought a Jabra BT500v. Not ... ...any of the instructions for the 205 and they look very similar in pictures online (having googled 'Jabra') and I assumed the one I lost was the exact same thing. In fact they look completely different!
FIRST IMPRESSIONS AND SET-UP
When it arrived I charged it up, paired it with my SEK800i with no trouble, and it sat on the shelf for a couple of days until I came to use it. The very different look compared to the 205 still didn't really register ...

affordable comfort
Advantages: Inexpensive Disadvantages: if strap broke you have to throw it away
...an affordable one was the Jabra BT 125.
I was rather impressed with this as it is light weight, and has all the functions needed. Last number redial, voloume and reversable ear piece for either ear, bbbut the most important feature was it was a comfortable fit. Instead of a protuding ear piece that fits into your ear, the Jabra sits up against your ear, giving better comfort, and being a driver who has the blue tooth in all day, it was a pleasure ...

Light and compact
Advantages: Superb sound quality and lightweight Disadvantages: NONE!!!
...days ago, I bought the Jabra BT 530 Bluetooth Headset, for my Samsung L760. Personally, I have used a H&H 006 bluetooth headset before. This headset is quite stylish and affordable. However, it can be quite heavy for our ears at 18 grams.
The way Jabra designs its bluetooth headsets is really commendable. Its sound quality was superb and their noise-cancellation technology made our calls much more clearer and the caller's voice, crisp. Lets you take control of your music.
Advantages: Full control of music functions Disadvantages: Styling may not suit all tastes
...I found my existing Bluetooth Jabra BT250 seemed to lose audio very easily with my new phone, and the fact that I would like to listen to music from the phone through the headset.
I considered the Sony Ericsson HBH DS220, but was put off by both the price, and the lack of features (the buttons only let you answer calls and change the volume, not change tracks). I had read some reviews of the Jabra BT3030 indicate that the audio was too quiet, so ... ...of the moment, but I'm pleased to report that the audio is fine, and will go as loud as you like.
The controls are very good, and the exact functionality may depend on your particular phone, but you can answer/end/reject calls, change music tracks and volume from the unit itself. There is a multi colour LED that indicates the state of charge of the battery, and also what mode the unit is in. The LED flashes periodically, like most bluetooth devices ...

A good value headset for most users
Advantages: Clear sound, comfortable design, good battery life Disadvantages: Short range, charging system can annoy
The Jabra BT205 is one of those rare pieces of technology that does what it's supposed to do nice and simply, without unnecessary clutter and even with a pleasant finish to boot. It hooks comfortably over one ear, with a small rubber-like bud to direct the sound where the user will doubtless find it most useful. This little bud is really very well designed considering how simple it is - not only can it be rotated so that the headset can be used on ... ...one that fits into the ear a little way and one that sits just outside - and spares.
The controls on the headset are very simple - a volume up/down rocker and a call button (which is also used to turn the set on and off, and to put it into discovery mode for connection.) These have always responded well for me and feel good and solid.
The headset charges from a little cradle which holds it nicely in place. Usefully, this cradle can be disconnected ...
