Motorola S9. The Curate's Egg of Headsets

Advantages: First Class 'Hands free' performance Great stereo effect
Disadvantages: Badly let down by drop ous whilst on the move.

...Bluetooth connection between Phone ( Motorola V8) and headset. This connection delivered a strong signal to my ears and made my play lists ( mostly light classical music with a few of Sinatra's offerings mixed in) really come alive. Stereo effect has a very slight bias towards the left hand speaker, but I'm putting that down to my 69 years old Mk. I lug 'oles, not performing as they used to! General Performance. Overall very good. PROVIDING one ...
...whilst on the move, Motorola needs to have serious second thoughts. "Hands Free" When set up to automatically receive incoming calls it comes into its own as a fine instrument, given the odd vagaries of Motorola's V8 Voice call software,... " Say a command or name", then when one does this, the software replies "Did you say ******'s MOBEEL?" Answering "Yes" gets one connected. Answering "No" switches the strongly American accented voice off. . ...

Jibber-Jabber-Jabra, just gotta have ya

Advantages: Good call quality, battery life and keeps you legal
Disadvantages: Can't but help look a bit daft behind your ear

...Vodafone offered me a free Jabra BT205 when I upgrade my phone a couple of years back, it was difficult to say no, and I very soon came to use the thing all the time. The 205 was a decent little headset and something I used frequently when going on longer journeys (which I do almost every weekend during the winter to play hockey). It was on one such outing that I managed to lose my little 205, so just before Christmas I bought a Jabra BT500v. Not ...
...any of the instructions for the 205 and they look very similar in pictures online (having googled 'Jabra') and I assumed the one I lost was the exact same thing. In fact they look completely different! FIRST IMPRESSIONS AND SET-UP When it arrived I charged it up, paired it with my SEK800i with no trouble, and it sat on the shelf for a couple of days until I came to use it. The very different look compared to the 205 still didn't really register ...

affordable comfort

Advantages: Inexpensive
Disadvantages: if strap broke you have to throw it away

...an affordable one was the Jabra BT 125. I was rather impressed with this as it is light weight, and has all the functions needed. Last number redial, voloume and reversable ear piece for either ear, bbbut the most important feature was it was a comfortable fit. Instead of a protuding ear piece that fits into your ear, the Jabra sits up against your ear, giving better comfort, and being a driver who has the blue tooth in all day, it was a pleasure ...

Plantronics Headset voice tube!

Advantages: Sleek, original design, great handsfree device
Disadvantages: can fall off head now and then, also quite flimsy

...OF PURCHASE: The Link BRAND: Plantronics SIZE: 11cm These are wicked new handsfree devices suitable for all mobiles, and was released earlier this year. I've been using mine whenever I get the chance and have since didtched the motorola headset I was previously using. They come in 6 different colours and ave a silver ear piece and a silver voice piece end. You wear it by wrapping around your ear and have the bottom bit poking out from under your ...
...little gadget is meant for ultimate comfort and so is flexiable and adjustable for all ear sizes and head shapes. Which I personally thought was great as I've got rater small ears and the handsfree gizmoz I'd tried before where way too big and always caused me pain. My favourite part about this is not only does it look cool, is in my favourite colour, fits into my bag easily, but it also has really good sound out put. On my motorola head piece I ...

...and very stylish looking, the Nokia HF-310 is I think great value for money. Tuning in To sync the unit to your phone you just search bluetooth devices on your phone and it finds the HF-310 instantly. When you have to switch the unit off then back on on it automatically sync's to your phone. Answering When you receive a call you just have to press the large button in the middle of the unit and the callers voice comes over load and clear. The volume ...
...the edge of the unit, very neat. Calling You can call the last number by pressing the button twice, handy if you just want to call someone back. Fitting This unit comes with a windscreen suction pad for windscreen mount, a pad that sticks to your dashboard then the unit sticks to that, but then the pad can only be used in one car, or a sunvisor clip that I find best and use. ...
