Motorola S9. The Curate's Egg of Headsets
Advantages: First Class 'Hands free' performance Great stereo effect Disadvantages: Badly let down by drop ous whilst on the move.
...Bluetooth connection between Phone ( Motorola V8) and headset. This connection delivered a strong signal to my ears and made my play lists ( mostly light classical music with a few of Sinatra's offerings mixed in) really come alive. Stereo effect has a very slight bias towards the left hand speaker, but I'm putting that down to my 69 years old Mk. I lug 'oles, not performing as they used to!
General Performance.
Overall very good. PROVIDING one ... ...whilst on the move, Motorola needs to have serious second thoughts.
"Hands Free"
When set up to automatically receive incoming calls it comes into its own as a fine instrument, given the odd vagaries of Motorola's V8 Voice call software,... " Say a command or name", then when one does this, the software replies "Did you say ******'s MOBEEL?" Answering "Yes" gets one connected. Answering "No" switches the strongly American accented voice off.

The exterior is extremely stylish and a smart use of smooth curves ensures the design clearly out strips all other similar models. The ear hook is slim and almost unnoticeable, bending beautifully with the curves of the earpiece itself.

Hello Moto? Hello.......hellooooooooo????
Advantages: Fairly small, light Disadvantages: poorly fitting, sound volume due to fit.
Well the first thing i noticed upon putting this headset on is that its quite light and very stylish looking. It also comes in 6 different colours for the fashion concious among us.
Getting connected to your desired phone was very easy. Once connected it seemed very stable with no disconnection at all although i used to use it on site with my phone in my pocket so it was never that far away. Making phone calls can be made by voice activation from ... ...call button down until a beep is heard and then pronouncing your desired name. This can only however be done through phones with voice dialling built into them, which is now quite a common feature on modern phones.
My first fault with this headset is the fitting. I found being very active it kept falling off my ear. Even just sat in the car i found it didnt feel secure and i had to keep refitting it. The second fault was when recieving calls. Unless ...

Style comes at a price
Advantages: goodlooking, long battery life Disadvantages: uncomfortable, poor sound quality
...bought my headset with my motorola V3. A first look I thought it was great and in my oppinion is one of the cooler looking headsets on the market. It supports bluetooth 1.1 ad 1.2 specifications and has a long battery life of 8 hours talktime. It is lightweight and very easy to use so you dont have to be a techno wiz . However I did find the sound quality to be very echoey and I think motorola could have done a better job. In addition, after using ...

...and very stylish looking, the Nokia HF-310 is I think great value for money. Tuning in
To sync the unit to your phone you just search bluetooth devices on your phone and it finds the HF-310 instantly. When you have to switch the unit off then back on on it automatically sync's to your phone.
Answering
When you receive a call you just have to press the large button in the middle of the unit and the callers voice comes over load and clear. The volume ... ...the edge of the unit, very neat.
Calling
You can call the last number by pressing the button twice, handy if you just want to call someone back.
Fitting
This unit comes with a windscreen suction pad for windscreen mount, a pad that sticks to your dashboard then the unit sticks to that, but then the pad can only be used in one car, or a sunvisor clip that I find best and use. ...
