It Rocks
Review of Sony Ericsson W710i by ShadowDAW

Advantages: Utilities
Disadvantages: None

...other phones were nokia or sony ericsson. They never lasted more than six months. This phone has some cool abilities: call, sms, mms, internet, email, mp3, mpeg-4, camera of 2.0 megapixel (you can take photo's with resolution 1280*960), a stepcalculator. This is the perfect phone for younger people who want to enjoy life at a high level. That doesn't mean that older people can't enjoy this phone, but the utilities are more adapted to the life of ... Good looking phone even makes calls!
Review of Sony Ericsson Z610i by jimbowimbo

Advantages: Looks good, does what you need it to
Disadvantages: None really

I own this phone. It is a clam phone which is useful as the buttons don't get pressed by accident in your pocket, and it is quite slim, though nothing like the Razr - about an inch thick, I'd say. It slips easily into a pocket, and is easy to use. It has a good camera, with 4x digital zoom, and a video recorder too, though it only takes 20 seconds at a time. It has a display on the front which tells you the time and has icons for messages or missed ...
...side you can press without opening the phone to tell you if you have any appointments inn your calendar,. or how much battery life the phone has left. The way you navigate around is quite straightforward - you just click on the icons, the address book comes up quite quickly when you turn the phone on, and you can easily make a phone call too - the voice quality is great and there is a loud speaker function as well if you need. You can bluetooth ... Read review

Novelty Act
Review of Samsung SGH F300 Ultra Music by chillyjack

Advantages: Unique concept. Very showy mobile.
Disadvantages: Tiny screen for text messaging. Novelty wears off quickly.

...advertisements on television for the Samsung F300 and being in need of a new mobile phone I felt that the F300 had a unique and innovative edge about it. The idea of having a multi-tasking phone/MP3 seemed very appealing. So.. I went ahead and got it on contract. The F300 is at first what I expected, unlike any other phone I had owned before. It even came with it's own case which also acts as a backup battery which is of great use when you are away ...
...had the larger screen and touch panel which could not only be used as an iPod-style player but also allows for the viewing of photos and videos on a much larger screen. Perfect for showing off to everyone. However, the novelty started to wear off extremely quickly and I found myself become frustrated with the smaller details. For example, when you receive a text message you have to, as a default, view it on the tiny screen on the phone side, of ... Read review

Very Robust Nokia, but Compromised in other areas
Review of Nokia 5140i by davelam

Advantages: Very robust, doesn't scratch easily, good torch
Disadvantages: No bluetooth, small screen difficult to read in bright light, lack of memory

I got this phone about 15 months ago, and it has been very useful and reliable. When I first got it, the keys seemed to require a lot of pressure to activate them, but it seems that this is less of a problem now. Whether it is that the phone has changed, or I have just become used to it, I'm not sure... Also, I found that it was very hard to take off the case to access the battery and sim card, but again, this has become easier over time. This phone ...
...been dropped on several occassions, but still functions fine. The case is cracked in a few places, but this is not really noticable because it is black. There is also a fairly bright LED at the top of it, which acts as a torch, and this has come in useful on several occassions, though it is only effective up to about 30cm away. There are rumours that these phones are waterproof, but I haven't had the confidence to test this - I would have thought ... Read review
