Samsung's Attempt at "The Indestructible Phone"
Review of Samsung SGH E370 by
whitby_qpr
Advantages: unparralleled duribility, great 3.2 Megapixel camera
Disadvantages: battery life, memory space
I bought my Samsung GGH E370 phone from Carphone warehouse about a year ago now, and since then, its failed to put a foot wrong.
This phone has been through hell and back. Its been involved in such incidents as;
1) Dropped down the stairs around 20 times
2) Stood on a countless number of times
3) Left in the garden (in the rain) overnight
and even been put through the washing machine, and yet the worst injury it sustained was simply the slider ... ...is the most reliable phone i have ever owned, and probably ever will. You can pick them up new these days for around £60-£100, and never have to worry about it breaking.
Furthermore, it never looks out of date or old, as the stylish contemporary design boasts a certain "coolness" that most phones just fail to deliver. In all, a great, well rounded product. ...

Samsung SGH-i320 Smart slim phone
Review of Samsung SGH i320 by
cronjev
Advantages: Sturdy, thin form factor, great screen, qwerty keyboard
Disadvantages: Non standard USB connector, Battery Life
The Samsung i320 has been delivering good service for the past 6 months now.
The phone's best feature is still it's very thin form factor - at a mere 11.5 mm for a full Windows Mobile phone (Still the slimmest in its class I believe).
Build quality is sturdy, and the speed is responsive. The phone handles well and the screen is very bright and clear, and it has adequate connectivity for light office use. (2.5G phone @ EDGE Speeds)
The qwerty keyboard ... ...rebooted from time time.
Samsung also uses proprietary USB connectors, where I'd definitely prefer a standard mini USB connector.
I use this phone for synchronising to our corporate Exchange server (Which works seamlessly out of the box), have used it for good quality sound and movies (I use it with a 1GB micro SD card). I have also had endless hours of Geeky fun playing with the operating system, themes and programmes installing everything from ...

More than just good looks
Review of Sony Ericsson W880i Walkman by
JsonRenlan
Advantages: design, build quality, Java implementation, good audio functions
Disadvantages: battery life is poor, small keys
...software is good, the regular Sony Ericsson menus, well organized and with plenty of functionality. The phone is quite powerful and has a very good Java implementation, so you can run almost (every) J2ME application you can think of. The screen is also good, quite bright even in direct sunlight you can use it, but the relatively small size and the 320x240 may not turn out to be the happiest combination for those that have problems with small fonts. ... ...is really good, though a standard headphone jack would be great. The keyboard buttons are really small, but they are very good and after a couple of hours of adjustment is not longer to big of a deal. If you text a lot, you might look for something else though. The only issue I have is the baterry life, I due use the phone a lot during a regular day, the it takes me just about two days, sometimes less, to drain the battery. The camera is also poor, ...

Worth every single penny
Review of LG KU990 Viewty by
calumneilson
Advantages: Easy to use, good screen, music, movies and many other features
Disadvantages: Expensive, can be fiddly to work
I got the LG Viewty about 7 months ago on contract for O2. The phone is reasonably expensive, but not when you compare it to the iPhone or other similar things. So, if you want a phone like this then it is great value for money.
The touch screen is sensitive and very easy to use. You can use the QWERTY keyboard to make typing texts and emails much easier.
It has a great web browser that is fairly fast and makes pages look almost identical as on ... ...does it's job.
If you get a memory card you can also play films/movies and even download applications to go on the phone.
You can watch films sideways on the phone, making full use of the screen in great quality, but it is hard to get films encoded right so that they player.
Overall the phone is really brilliant, well worth the money for me. ...
