I've had it for nearly three (yes!) years and it still works fine while my husband's fancy Sony packed up after a few months of use :) It has been dropped countless times and it doesn't even show it! This may only be a basic handset, yet it gives the impression that it oozes style.It has been built to be functional, and not an over the top gadget, the phone unfortunately has no camera facility or advanced data features, It comes equipped with a colour screen and a smooth clam style clip together..It is really light in weight to hold and is ideal for maybe a teen or youngster who wants the latest phone but may not be ready for all the mod cons ...

I am using this alcatel One Touch 511 mobile phone which i really like, but unfortunately there are certain points about this phone which makes me hate it. * Processing speed of messages and searching of names in the address book are damn slow. ( Well i went through one of the guys review on this forum as he says that the users should have patience. ...of the other phones than alcatel 511. *Love the polyphonic tones but unfortunately the volume isnt enough. *Searched all most all the sites available for 511 ring tones but none of the alactel notes are compatible for this phone. *No equipment available t listen to radio although the radio option is available. I bought this phone last year . I decided to write a review on it because this phone is very nice. I know the model exist in blue , red and grey (mine). Very compact it's tiny. It weights less than 80 grammes without the "clip" to cling it to the belt . It is interesting to notice that this "clip" is bigger than the phone himself( !) besides this clip is not very convenient , it doesn't hold well and the phone is located a little to high on the ...
