Good phone, looks great, standard battery
Review of LG Chocolate KG800 by
hkwilson
Advantages: great looking, easy to use
Disadvantages: could have better battery life
There is no denying that this phone has a very stylish look. The black and red contrast brilliantly.
The battery life for this phone is standard, but does decrease quickly when making calls. On average you can have 4-5 days between charges, which i would say is average for a phone of this type. The phone is easy to use, not only having touch screen but also a texting keypad, giving you the best of both worlds.
The camera is slightly below average; ... ...are a lot of other good features that make up for this in my opinion. The internal memory is good enough to hold up to 30 songs, and the supplied headphones produce a good sound.
The reception is good, and the speaker produces a good sound making it easy to hear your conversation clearly.
This phone is simple to use, looks GREAT, and is affordable. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a fairly simple phone for calling, texting and listening ...

A piece of steel
Review of Nokia 8800 by
typer-z
Advantages: Nice elegant "expensive" look
Disadvantages: Poor battery life, simple functions, a little heavy.
...Yes, that bad. No wonder Nokia gives two batteries with the box. After a while I got sick of the phone and stopped using it for around two weeks. Then after I started to using it again as a spare phone, the battery, amazingly, lasted longer than the first time I used it. It can hold for a few days now. I'm not sure how that happened. Probably because I let the phone "rest"? Not sure. As for the ringtone, it sounds really nice and suits the phone ... ...like earphone that matches the phone, a desktop charger, two batteries and a pouch. The price is alright I think, considering that it is the 8000 series, and because it includes all the accessories. The flaws would only be the battery life and functions to me. But this is not a big factor to me as I use this only as my spare phone. May not be the phone for gadget people and those who uses their phones alot, but if you can afford it, then why not ...

Review of Nokia 6111 by
RubyEvans2008
Advantages: bluetooth, camera, video camera, a lot of contacts memory,
Disadvantages: not much memory for songs, you can't get memory cards, breaks easily
BEFORE YOU BID, YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT CARPHONE WAREHOUSE ARE HAVING A CLEARANCE RIGHT NOW, AND THIS PHONE (NOKIA 6111) IS NOW REDUCED TO ONLY £29.95 WHEN BOUGHT WITH £10 AIRTIME
I HAVE GOT THIS PHONE AND I WOULD SAY THAT IT IS:
* EASY TO USE
* HAS A SLEEK SLIDING DESIGN
* HAS GOT BLUETOOTH
* THERE ISN'T MUCH MEMORY AROUND 24MB - CAN ONLY HOLD APPROX 6 SONGS
* A LOT OF CONTACTS MEMORY - YOU CAN STORE UP TO AROUND 200 NUMBERS
* BREAKS ... ...HAVE HAD TO GET IT FIXED
* CAN SEND AND RECEIVE MULTIMEDIA MESSAGES
* HIGH QUALITY CAMERA AND VIDEO CAMERA
* YOU CAN'T GET MEMORY CARDS FOR THIS PHONE (I HAVE THIS PHONE AND I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR ONE FOR AGES AND THEY DON'T SEEM TO EXIST
* YOU CAN GET SOME GAMES FOR IT ...

Multi media mobile
Review of Nokia 6280 by
watkins11
Advantages: Loads of media functions, internet,
Disadvantages: Size, lock
...Sharp, Sony Erricson, Samsung and Nokia and found the Nokia holds battery life longer, gets a stronger signal in our area and the calls are clearer. My only requirements were for a camera and for a free phone as up to date as possible (I knew 18 months is a long time by mobile standards), this phone ticked these boxes.
It is a slide style, the front panel slides up a couple of inches to reveal the keypad, although many features can be used without ... ...the front lower panel. The main options such as 'menu' and 'vodafone live' are shown on the bottom left, right or middle of the screen and you just press the buttons directly under the option you require. Easy! The sliding mechanism is nice and smooth with an audible click when it's in the correct position, and there is a handy little 'ledge' just under the screen you can use to open and shut the slider although it is quite thin, anyone with large ...

nokia 6220
Review of Nokia 6220 by
markyfringer
Advantages: ease of use
Disadvantages: limited features
the nokia 6220 is a phone with limited features, especially the camera quality. the camera is not even 1.5 mega pixel, which is really bad, and there is no zoom, with 30 second videos of bad quality. the phone also misses the things like mp3 whihc was around when it came out, an the memory is disgraceful. however, the phone does have other capabilities like the wallet, which has password, and the easy downloads available. it does look great, but ...
