Review of Sony Ericsson W890i by
Fordy01
Advantages: Size, weight, music, internet
Disadvantages: battery! camera features, screen scratches easily
I've had this phone for a couple of months now and although it looks nice and is relatively durable, the screen scratches incredibly easily. My biggest problem is the battery which seems to last a maximum of 48 hours on standby! This really is terrible and which I put down to recieving a bad battery until I met a friend with the same phone and exactly the same problem. Watch out for this and get a replacement if you can. Other than that, the phone ... ...a lot more user friendly than previous phones I've had. I only wish they could have included some more of the photo features from the Cyber-Shot phones. As expected, the music capabilities are good, although I have some gripes with the menu system but which on the whole, is pretty slick. A good phone overall but the battery may let you down!! ...

Samsung SGH-U900 SOUL
Review of Samsung SGH-U900 Soul by
mantaf
Advantages: Easy to use and up to the minute techknowledgy
Disadvantages: Can flick fast from one tab to another. Screen can scratch and effect touch screen
This is my first touch screen phone and I must say that I found it easy to understand and although I sometimes find it awkward because it can flick fast from one to another of the menu tabs overall I am very pleased with it. The 5meg picture quality is great and the auto focus and image stabilizer enables even an amature like me to catch terrific photos. It is strong and durable unlike other slide or flip phones I have owned. Having the MP3, radio ... ...It is a perfect phone for an active mum and with such an easy to use camera its onhand to capture those special once in a life time moments with your kids! So if you want a good reliable upto the minute phone that will make your teenage kids green with envy then this is the one for you! ...

C902 - Marvel of Design and Ingenuity
Review of Sony Ericsson C902i by
jimboy81
Advantages: Sleek and stylish, easy to use and loaded with features. Top camera!
Disadvantages: Sometimes sluggish when doing simple tasks.
The new Sony Ericsson C902 phone is by far my favourite phone.
Forgive me for being simple with some explanations but I have never had a Sony Ericsson before so some features I describe may not be new or novel.
The first thing I noticed as I opened the box was the array of things that come with. A simple to use manual which only gives the most basic of information (but thats all you really need), some ear phones with built in antenna for the radio ... ...I am yet to test on my mac but previous phone software has worked.
The definate selling point of this phone is the camera. A Whopping 5 Megapixel camera which effortlessly slides out of the top of the phone. Its beautifully designed so that it doesn't get damaged. A little blue neon strip lights up when you pull it out (great for those nights out when its dark and you can't see the camera!) and around the display which is thankfully in landscape ...

The Stylish and Sexy U9
Review of Motorola U9 by
hi_nicola
Advantages: Gorgeous, fashionable, stylish, easy to use
Disadvantages: A bit slow sometimes, ringtones aren't great
Before I start this review, I should say that the U9 is my first new phone in over three years. This is something pretty major for me as I was very attached to my old phone - it might have been old and basic but it offered everything I needed, and I found that most newer phones were either ugly or had the exact same (or worse) specifications than my old phone did - which was pretty surprising for one that was so old! The fact that I *FINALLY* chose ... ...how good the U9 is.
The U9 is almost certainly a girls phone. Your colour choices are either pink or purple - the pink designed for 'party girls', and the purple for those that like luxury. The outer appearance of the phone is fantastic. It really is a gorgeous little phone, and extremely fashionable. The outside is very simplistic, metallic and shiny so it manages to look both sophisticated and cool. The purple is a gorgeous colour and is owned ...

Brilliantly put together
Review of Blackberry Curve 8310 by
mariush123
Advantages: user friendly, great visauls and great durability
Disadvantages: bit expencive
...life now revolves around a blackberry smart phone…well at least my office life does.
After my Nokia N71 crashed into a software spiral and it didn't look as if the trust N series phone was going to get out of the whirlpool its stuck in and I had to make a plan very quickly, luckily all the things that I own is insured and I phoned the service provider got the insurance claim form, filled it in, and sent it back, within 10 minutes they phoned me ... ...was made up on the blackberry 8310 curve… and to be honest , it was probably the smartest choice I have ever made when it comes to cell phones.
Knowing nothing about the handset at all I started by …switching the handset on, and immediately It took me through the Blackberry setup wizard, running through the wizard it sets up the handset brilliantly and everything is done, pin code is detected immediately, time line, preferred language, text language ...
