Carphone Warehouse: Use for browsing and that's it.
Advantages: Lots of mobiles to have a look at and read about the features. Disadvantages: Dirty store, misleading staff, expensive mobiles.
...are 2 different stores.
The Carphone Warehouse specialise in selling mobile phone, mobile broadband, laptops & netbooks.
The store is quite small and has various mobile phones on offer from 3, O2, Orange, Virgin, T-Mobile & Vodafone. They have pay as you go options or pay monthly options. The models on display are normally dummy ones so that you can feel the weight of the phone and have a closer look at the screen and the buttons etc. They do have ... ...can browse some of the features and see if the phone has the features you would like.
They normally have some podiums in the middle of the store which have laptops & netbooks on and these are normally available to have a play on and test out. Quite often these models have scratches and broken keys where people have been abusing them in store and nobody seems to have noticed or if they have they don't actually care about fixing them.
On entering ...

Seeing Red with Orange Shop Online
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Too many to itemise.
I've been 'in the market' for a new mobile phone ever since, well, I read down the list of specifications on the Nokia N95; compared it against my trusty Nokia 2650 flip-phone and... Yeah, it was like comparing a Swiss Army Knife with a teaspoon.
This was about three months ago and far from the craving fading with time, distance and the whole 'unlocked handsets cost twice as much as the average desktop PC' business - my condition worsened. Until, ... ...everything, in my opinion, that the N95 had and I wanted - just without the 3G, GPS extensions and 5mpx camera - an LG Shine.
This was a good start. I'd done my homework; clarified all of the elements that made me both disappointed in my old handset and greening around the gills with jealousy over the N95; made myself a checklist of 'wants' (expandable memory, Bluetooth, media capable - video, image, mp3 tone); things I was prepared to compromise ...

Great sales team
Advantages: Sales team, choice, service Disadvantages: Accessory prices
...So inside the Vodafone shop which is quite space, with phones on one wall, accesories in the middle, a help desk and a counter in opposing corners. Quite well laid out and spacey, I stood and looked at all the phones and there was a few that interested me. I also read the offers on the little cards that were provided "unlimted weekend texts if you spend £5 in the week" was the most eye catching offer I'd seen all day then "Unlimited internet use ... ...least. My first dealing with Vodafone had been a success of the highest order. By December of last year the phone was dead, and I again had to go phone shopping, with a budget of upto £120 for my birthday and christmas present from my mum (theres a review of the phone, the K770i on here by me) which was eventually bought in the Vodafone shop too I think, it was upgraded to a sim only deal a few weeks later with Phones 4 U who advised me it'd save ...
