Nokia E90 Communicator
Review of Nokia E90 Communicator by
cport80
Advantages: Web zoom, flip history, mSD slot, GPS & 3.2mp camera
Disadvantages: Price, price, no speel chqr, price, startup time and price
Having recently reviewed the Nokia N810 internet tablet and discovered it is little more than an executive toy, I approached the E90 without any expectations. I'm glad to say that so far I have not found any unusual missing features. Yes unlike the N810 this device actually has a phone. And that's not all, there are even some productivity applications in the form of a simple word processor and spreadsheet. From the outside the phone appears to be ... ...standard mini-USB so kudos to Nokia for a design that people may actually be able to use without spending another £20-30 on accessories. As if that wasn't enough there's a micro SD card slot right next to the USB port which means you can actually take the card out without removing the battery (well, you can if you have fingernails or tweezers as the card slot isn't spring loaded). Nokia even supply a 512mb card in the box with a micro-sd to standard-sd ...

NOKIA N76 - show me a better clam phone....
Review of Nokia N76 by
milwayj
Advantages: Multimedia especially Music excellent, Robust, easy to use
Disadvantages: Expensive, a bit bulky, can lose its good looks fast
...ever had. I am pleased Nokia finally entered the clam market and this is the result.
The overriding quality is the multimedia capability of this phone, the radio and music player is on the front of phone and is excellent, very user friendly and handy, If you add the 2GB memory card it basically replaces your Ipod which it has for me as you can store 500 songs on it then. The fact it uses normal earphone socket is very appealing too. It has a great ... ...you always expect from a Nokia phone in terms of the interface and menus, which is very important - no random questions and illogical poaths like you get with a Samsung. With the amount of shortcuts and buttons instantly available you can pretty much get to anywhere you want on the phone in two button pushes. The texting is as easy as ever, as Nokia tend to do this best, again far better than the Motorola Razr. Not only in my opinion it is one of ...

A great cellphone for all.
Review of Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman by
inam566
Advantages: You get every possible functionality
Disadvantages: Keypads are stiff in start
...if you are a first-time sony ericsson user. The display is certainly clear and nice.
The camera is 3.2mp. however, i felt that a 3.2mp camera on a samsung phone seemed to take better-resolution pictures. If given a choice, i would definitely vote for the samsung camera over this. It's camera is far from impressive, so if you are one who captures a lot of photos with your phone, you might be a tad let down by the camera.
The fact that the phone ... ...the radio and charge your phone at the same time, since they use the same dock. Another problem i had with the dock was with the earphones. It seemed that i had to fit it exactly right, in a certain position, for the phone to detect the earphones. It was irritating!
The keypad seems to be coated with some plastic material. I did not like the feel of the keypad and the stiff keys made texting slower. However, friends who have had the phone for some ...

Music is here, walkman rocks
Review of Sony Ericsson W960i by
gemsarchitect
Advantages: Excellent sound quality, fully featured
Disadvantages: nothing
Sony Ericsson W960i
After the releasing of Apple iphone Sony has encountered tough competition with its walkman series phone. Before iphone Sony Ericsson was the king of music phones, but now the real competition starts and fully featured phone has been released. Nokia is also struggling to get status in music category phones. So in this competition period we have seen some good models of music phones in recent years. Sony Ericsson has launched ... ...sound quality and I think Sony Ericsson provides best sound quality in phones and I am fond of Walkman series phone due to its superb music player. The equalizer facility also available in handsfree with Bass or mega bass feature. And the megabass ofwalkman player provides excellent experience of sound in phones. Phone also has a dedicated walkman key for instant access to music player.
And the most compulsory feature in any phone called FM radio ...

Spare me the technicalities, is it any good?
Review of Apple iPhone 3G by
Aeris_Cloud
Advantages: Uber cool, ease of use, apps, multi-functionality
Disadvantages: Battery life, no vidoe recorder, no MMS, bad sound quality for iPod
...reviews were written, O2 and Apple have got their act together with the way in which you activate the phone.
I went to my local O2 store, paid my £99 (I had chosen to go onto a £35pm contract, see end of review for tariff info etc), and hurried home with my new prize possession!
The first thing I noticed whilst unpacking my black beauty was that there was no manual - not that I usually read them, but I do, however read the first few pages to see ... ...So, Apple were being cocky in thinking their phone was so simple, a mere blonde female such as myself could just pick it up and use it? Darn right! And, to make things even better, the phone was already charged!
Activation requires nothing more technical than loading up iTunes on your pc (and creating an account if you haven't got one already - this includes giving your debit/credit card details)and attaching the iPhone via usb to your computer ...
