Nokia E90 Communicator
Review of Nokia E90 Communicator by
cport80
Advantages: Web zoom, flip history, mSD slot, GPS & 3.2mp camera
Disadvantages: Price, price, no speel chqr, price, startup time and price
Having recently reviewed the Nokia N810 internet tablet and discovered it is little more than an executive toy, I approached the E90 without any expectations. I'm glad to say that so far I have not found any unusual missing features. Yes unlike the N810 this device actually has a phone. And that's not all, there are even some productivity applications in the form of a simple word processor and spreadsheet. From the outside the phone appears to be ... ...standard mini-USB so kudos to Nokia for a design that people may actually be able to use without spending another £20-30 on accessories. As if that wasn't enough there's a micro SD card slot right next to the USB port which means you can actually take the card out without removing the battery (well, you can if you have fingernails or tweezers as the card slot isn't spring loaded). Nokia even supply a 512mb card in the box with a micro-sd to standard-sd ...

LG U300
Review of LG U300 by
suecandoit
Advantages: Colour, Large Screen, Lightweight, Swivel Camera
Disadvantages: Flip not easy, Plastic Charge cover, Small Keys
I got this phone as loved the snazzy colour. I am very pleased with it overall, although it is early days and I'm still getting used to all the menus and keys. The keypad is quite small for the not so nimble fingered. I also havent yet worked out how to access all my contact's numbers when I store more than one number against their name. It seems a very complicated system or rather it's not clear using the onscreen help. I'm not overly keen on the ... ...just looks like it could snap off and gets in the way when inserting the lead. The flip opening is also quite fiddly as it has a very small tab, not easy to do with one hand. Overall the phone looks good and is remarkably light but using it to it's full capacity could take some getting used to. ...

U8120
Review of LG U8120 by
HipHopplanet2007
Advantages: A wide range of features
Disadvantages: Quite Big and Bulky, Battery time
I Have had roughly 10+ mobile phones over the last 5 years or so and I would say this is definitely better than average and is probably one of my favorite phones I have had. The only disadvantages I would say with this phone are: it is quite bulky - when compared to some of the phones released over the last two years or so. Secondly, the battery doesn't last as long as some other phones I have used, however when compared to something like the ipod- ... ...is. Advanteages include- a wide range of features: camera, video camera, WAP, the option to connect it to your PC, as well as all the standard options you would normally expect to be included on a phone nowadays.
Overall, I would say this phone is better than average(I give it 4/5): out of the 10+ phones I have had I would say it is my third- best and is definitely worth considering. ...

Very Urban, Youthful Phone
Review of LG Chocolate U830 by
venus1173
Advantages: Sound Quality
Disadvantages: a little bit overtime you the sound in the earpeice
Very nice phone, fits almost anywhere in your purse or in the back of your phone, very good iif you want to play music. Not that difficult to maneuver. Sound quality through the ear piece is very good. excellent for taking pictures. It has this thing that gives the ablility to make slide shows with your pictures. You can do this for the outside screen and the inside screen. The style of the phone is very unique, its very youthful sort of urban look ...

Is it a brick, is it a Rock, no it's a NEC E616
Review of NEC E616 by
Matty_P
Advantages: Internet and Camera
Disadvantages: Huge, Hard to Use
~~~Intro~~~
I bought this phone a month before Christmas from a friend for £20 and by the time Christmas came I was glad to replace it. The phone is a flip phone with many features.
~~~Looks~~~
The phone itself is not ugly looking; it has a sleek and stylish inside (where the buttons and screen are) they are arranged neatly with the navigation circle surrounded by other buttons. But by far the main complaint of the looks is the size it is the ... ...in your back pocket. The measurements of the phone are roughly:
Closed:
Width: 100mm
Height: 35mm
Depth: 50mm
Open:
Width: 190mm
~~~Weight~~~
With a big phone comes a heavy weight after weighing it I realised it weighed 152 grams which doesn't seem very much but to compare I weighed my new phone (Samsung E720) which weighed only 83 grams, Which is nearly halve the weight. The specification of the phone says it weighs 131 grams but ...
