BlackBerry Storm, is it an IPhone beater?

Advantages: Stylish, sleek. Great screen, and loads of super preinstalled internet ready apps.
Disadvantages: Slow when switching between applications, no Wi-Fi! Only 1GB on-board RAM.

The BlackBerry Storm This is RIM's first touch screen phone. Its also RIM's first real step towards capturing the moblie phones users who wouldn't normally be their typical user group (that's of course assuming that the typical BlackBerry user is business orientated!). It comes with a wealth of multimedia features. With ability to recognise various audio and video file types including MP3s, AVI and 3GP. As is pretty much standard, there's the ...
...The BlackBerry Storm has built-in GPS and comes preinstalled with BlackBerry Maps. Vodafone also provide their own Sat-Nav software, which is free for the 1st six months. I've noticed that when the GPS is switched on, it really does drain the battery. It's highly recommend that you plug the BlackBerry Storm into a in-car charger when on the go. Surprisingly (and very disappointingly) there's no Wi-Fi support. This means to get the most of the BlackBerry ...

About ten months later, under the shadow of the best-selling iPod nano, that ballyhooed device debuted -- the ROKR E1 -- a bastard product that Apple never put any weight behind, and that Motorola was quick to forget. The relationship between Apple and Motorola soon dissolved, in turn feeding the tech rumor mill with visions of a "true ...

My Review of the HTC S620 Smartphone

Advantages: Thsi would be a handy tool for someone who is on the move, its like having your laptop in your poc
Disadvantages: The screen is vunerable to cracking if left in a pocket, and the battery drains quick when WIFI on

I have had this phone for a while now and would like to share my experiences with anyone thinking of buying. Its about 100mm long by 50mm wide and 12mm thick (up to 20mm with the long life battery). Its very light and fits in the hand nicely. There is a full Querty keyboard with numbers accessed via the FN key, its pretty strange at first, coming from a standard phone, but after a while its very easy to type. The screen is very large and clear, displays ...
...need a large micro sd card for this, i find 4Meg adequate). With WM6.1 installed youll find plenty of apps including a fully working version of MS office ie Power Point, Word, excell. and many other free apps which you can upload from the Internet. It has wifi (with internet explorer for full internet access), Bluetooth, and GPRs for email and web on the move, all of which can be switched off (flight mode). Bundled with the phone i purchased was ...

Tries Too Hard And Gets No-Where

Advantages: Cheap, good battery life
Disadvantages: Unreliable, Falling apart, Tinny Music

...found they were selling the Vodafone 810 for an extremely reasonable £29.99. The blurb in the booklet told me that the 810 boasts most of the features of a far more expensive make and model. Among the features that caught my eye were the 2MP camera, MP3 player and Bluetooth. So I was hooked and splashed out my cash on what appeared to be just about the most full-featured mobile in my very low price range. The Styling Once I’d purchased the phone ...
...what I had got for my money. Well new out of the box it was certainly very shiny and it looked fairly stylish. This is a slide phone in black with silver detailing, it is however quite large and it has a real feeling of weight behind it. The thing is it looks as if it’s almost the twin of another manufacturer’s phone, namely the Nokia slide phones. Now to me this is an advantage of a sorts in that it actually looks far more expensive than it really ...
