Stunning quality, showing its age in some areas
Review of Motorola MOTOKRZR K1 by
deputydawg
Advantages: Beautifully built, decent features
Disadvantages: Display and camera features disappointing by today's standards
...product - top of the Motorola range when it was launched, and still impressive as it moves down the market.
Construction is solid, which is important in a flip-phone. Budget flips can be alarmingly weak at the hinge, but the K1 exudes strength. The glossy front with its useful small display resists scratching, the metallic back is robust but has a pleasing silky feel, and the hinge is reassuringly firm. At the base is a wraparound-style speaker ... ...say that in my opinion Motorola is far and away the worst user interface designer of the major manufacturers, and the K1 has the usual attractive but frustrating interface.
But the styling and overall quality count for a lot: this is still one of the smoothest phones to pull from your purse or pocket. You could pay a lot more and get a lot less. ...

Motorola really are not worth the bother
Review of Motorola RIZR Z8 by
gemmalou86
Advantages: The look good
Disadvantages: But never work more than 5 minutes
...a big fan of Motorola phones, due to having a lot of problems with the black razor. I was looking for a Nokia mobile telephone when I noticed the sleek Z8. After careful consideration, I order my Motorola Z8 online and opted for a 18 month contact with 02, this was last November.
I had the phone proberly less than a month before the screen went wrong, for example I would try to make a call and the screen woulnd turn purple/ red/ black and then turn ... ...another phone w hich doesnt even charge. so at the moment im phoneless and paying £40 per month and not being able to make a phone call.
I mainly reget my choice to get another Motorola Moblie, but i especially reget signing to O2 until May 2009!! ...

Motorola F3 - Simplicity at best
Review of Motorola Motofone F3 by
EVIT
Advantages: Simple, slim, light, smart-looking, easy-to-use, cheap and durable!
Disadvantages: SMS can be hard to deal with, alarm clock only works when phone is on
...average mobile users. Motorola had a great idea. A mobile phone with the most basic functions you can get and for the cheapest price ever seen!
The Motorola F3 (o Motofone) is the answer to the increasingly estranging mobile phone technology.
Simple, slim, light, smart-looking, easy-to-use, cheap and durable!
-----------> After all this praise let's see what so good about it (and what's bad):
First of all the price! I paid it around £7 at pound-stretcher ... ...not fully customisable
The Motorola Motofone band is 900/1800 MHz GSM for Europe. I read that it also comes in different colours (black, blue, red and a silverish grey) but I only found the black one which is very nice.
-----------> Now the bad
The real bad thing of this phone is the weird display of SMS. The text display contains only two lines of six characters each that makes reading and writing SMS less practical than on standard LCD displays, ...

Great phone - only for girls
Review of Motorola U9 by
jessicajess7
Advantages: Great look, clear screen, easy-to-use buttons
Disadvantages: Easily scratched, sexist colours
I bought this phone about a week ago and I think it's absolutely brilliant! The screen is really high res, the feel of the phone is gorgeous, the buttons are just the right size (not the really small or 'wobbly' feeling ones you can get) and it looks really cool. It comes in 2 colours (as far as I know) - pink and purple. When you close it together it shows the time and then a short animation through the seemingly-opaque lid. When a message/phone ...
