Motorola K1 - sleek and easy to use

Advantages: durable, decent battery life, modern appearance
Disadvantages: short video recording time, poor quality camera, calendar memory wiping

I've had the K1 since October 2006 and it has lasted me very well - the phone is still in perfect working order and I have had no major problems with it. The design is very sleek, and available in a variety of colours to suit individual tastes. The keypad lights up when you touch any key which is an attractive feature and useful when using the phone in the dark. The K1 comes with a camera which is useful although the quality is poor, still better ...
...so when you close the phone you can use it to take a self portrait without all the guess work of where you are in the viewfinder. The menu is simple and easy to navigate. The battery lasts a long time when the phone is on standby but diminishes rather quickly when chatting to someone. The phone is certainly durable - it's been dropped on concrete many a time and this hasnt affected its performance in the slightest, although it has left it with a ...

Great style, poor practicality

...a number of reasons, but Motorola seem to have gotten it right this time. The system is easy to navigate. However, at times it can seem quite slow, especially when browsing media files such as pictures and videos. Reception On Orange, I seem to get great reception all the time. Up to now, I have never gotten a 'service unavailable' message. Even in places where my previous phones, on the same network would not get reception, ...

Good all round phone

Advantages: Looks very nice
Disadvantages: Slightly big/ scratches easily

I have had this phone a while and it has done me well, even dropped it a few times without any breakages. Always use these motarola phones and they always seem to be reliable, also they arent the most expensive phones which is an added bonus! I will be sure to get another one like this/the new version when it is available. Battery can sometimes go down quite quickly however it has a long standby battery life, since i use mine very often the battery ...

...decided to ask about a Motorola phone when upgrade-time came. Why Motorola? In September 2005, I had also signed up to a contract with 3-mobile, for 100 texts and 500 anytime/any network minutes. This gave me a video-camera phone; my first was a Motorola C75 (Silver Brick) which lasted nearly a year before being replaced with the PUMPKIN RAZR V3x (which Took Me to The Ball ). I had not been particularly comfortable with the C75 ...

Good performance from the V220

Advantages: Calling, messaging, colours
Disadvantages: Memory, transferring files

This was my first camera phone and I have to say that this was a top quality phone for its time. It was either this phone or the VK 530, but this one had some more functions on it for a better price. Contents of box: *Phone *Charger *Manual *Warranty The first thing I noticed about the phone was the design. I quite liked the design, the thing for the eleven year old me. It was pink, a flip phone (the craze) and it had a camera. The phone has ...
...(0.3 mp) and the only "music" and video you can play is the tones/videos already on the phone. You cannot transfer anything on to it. To remove images, you have to use a cable and you have to buy the software for it (there is a way to get past that if you are on Virgin). A bit irritating. The ringtones on the phone are quite good. Nothing extremely special, but you get a selection. There is a recording function, but you can't set the recordings ...
