Is it a brick, is it a Rock, no it's a NEC E616

Advantages: Internet and Camera
Disadvantages: Huge, Hard to Use

~~~Intro~~~ I bought this phone a month before Christmas from a friend for £20 and by the time Christmas came I was glad to replace it. The phone is a flip phone with many features. ~~~Looks~~~ The phone itself is not ugly looking; it has a sleek and stylish inside (where the buttons and screen are) they are arranged neatly with the navigation circle surrounded by other buttons. But by far the main complaint of the looks is the size it is the ...
...in your back pocket. The measurements of the phone are roughly: Closed: Width: 100mm Height: 35mm Depth: 50mm Open: Width: 190mm ~~~Weight~~~ With a big phone comes a heavy weight after weighing it I realised it weighed 152 grams which doesn't seem very much but to compare I weighed my new phone (Samsung E720) which weighed only 83 grams, Which is nearly halve the weight. The specification of the phone says it weighs 131 grams but ...
You can have mine!
Advantages: You probably won't loose it, cheap
Disadvantages: Can't list them all, generally not very good
To be honest, i would not recommend this phone to anyone, it's pretty rubbish. The advantages are that it was very cheap at the time, and for £50 (or free as it was) you can hardly complain. I would, however, expect it to work most of the time. Spec (What there is of it!): Screen: Large but with low pixel and colour count Memory: 64mb Camera: 2x with 2x zoom, but small poor quality pictures Battery Life: 3 Days Stndby, 3 Hrs Talk Time Features: ...
...Clock, Text Notes, Currency Calculation, Address Book. I might as well list the advantages that i can think of, but the list is nowhere near as long as the disadvantages. It does have 64mb built in memory, which is quite a bit, unless you want to start loading loads of music onto it (which I did) so you can have up to 700 messages in your inbox, and 700 in the send items folder etc. I suppose having two cameras is also an advantage, saves having ...
stylish phone when you get a signal
a rather big phone but great for watching videos easy to use you can download short music clips and videos and even ring tones in some areas i struggled to get a signal which was no good in a emergency. it has some great java games to choose from and watch live football updates. there was a few accessories like hands free kits even boom kit & normal phone cases. i liked the way it was a flip style so it would protect the screen and you didnt ...
NEC DB4000
Advantages: light, big screen
Disadvantages: size, aerial sticks out
this NEC phone is great for a 2nd phone. Its light, has a bigger screen than other phones and has a flip-front which looks classy. However, this phone has had its time passed and looks obsolete when compared to other phones. The buttons can be a menace while texting and the aerial looks rather odd sticking out. All in all, a cheap phone with decent service and features. The flip-out looks classy and the green backlight makes it easier to read at ...
Worst Phone Around Even worse than a motorola
Advantages: O.K. Looking
Disadvantages: Everything about it
I bought the Db1000 thinking that it would be a good phone to own. It appeared to me in the shops to have many interesting features such as a calendar and diary and the fact that it vibrated. I was deceived. In the time which i had this phone (3 weeks) i hated it. It was the most rubbish phone that i ever used and found it very slow and difficult. The phone screen was big but the menu's were very slow and hard to navigate through. To access a text ...
...as there were so many screens and the phone was slow. Then when i had it in my pocket the battery release button popped out and broke so i required a new phone. I returned it and the replacement phone broke before i walked out the door and would not accept any key presses so once again i got another one which was just as slow. if you want a phone purely for looks this phone is not that bad but other than that you are far better than a basic motorola ...
