Ugly as FCUK Advantages: Cheap, very cheap Disadvantages: No colour screen, no camera, no polyphonic ringtones, no MMS, limited features, poor battery life If you are looking to buy a cheap phone that will only ever be used in an emergency and you never intend for it to be seen by friends and family then I wholeheartedly recommend this phone to you, but if however you are like me and like your mobile phone to be something of a portable entertainment system you should steer well clear of this ugly beast of a phone and in bullet point form, this is why: ~~~It looks like a brick! It is lightweight and ... ...dull grey plastic coating that looks as though it would shatter to pieces at the hint of connecting with another surface. ~~~The screen doesn't support any colours other than blue, mint, pepper and black. So the screen is incredibly small and doesn't add any brightness or vibrancy to the unit at all. ~~~There are no polyphonic or real ringtones. Thats right, in this day and age they still make phones with only monophonic tones. You get what you pay for Advantages: Stylish, Cheap, Reliable and Makes calls Disadvantages: The flip mechanism (A bit weak after a certain time) When I bought my Sendo M550, I thought I was getting a good phone, that looked stylish and more importantly was cheap, and made calls and text messages. It turns out I was right, the phone 'had been' reliable all the time I had it (ill explain how it had been later in the review). Atleast it is until you leave it in your swim short pockets, then it breaks and you buy a new phone. Shame that it doesnt come with a water-resistance feature. Price of handset when I bought it was £40-50, which is a good price for the handset. Key functions available, Great value! Advantages: Very cheap, Reliable, Easy to use, Visually good Disadvantages: Lacks maybe a few functions This phone is not sophisticated, it's definitely not got all the features of a modern phone, but it certainly does the job. All that is was intended to do. I like many have gone through allot of phones, I've experienced what video phones are like, the Bluetooth function which is now pretty standard as well as internet-enabled phones, but when considering whether to purchase this phone, you have to understand that it was built to do what a phone ... ...Firstly, the phone visually is pretty good, I wouldn't go as far as saying it's stunning but it's not a bad looking phone. It's got a good feel though and one of the things I hate with modern phone's is the excessively small buttons which are hard to press without pressing down others, this keypad on this phone in contrast is sensible, easy to use and not trying to be too clever. Sendo X Advantages: Today Screen Disadvantages: Infrared ...and muti function pad. The Sendo X came with all the basic functions which anybody would need: it had a music player,camera with flash,web browser(both wap or html) and two inbuilt games that would keep you addicted.I particularlt enjoyed the farming game and most of my friends unkowmnigly got addicted to it. Pertient to note is that as a symbian phone the Sendo X functionality was expandable. It had an expandable memory slot(maximum 2GB) and this ... ...particularly nice thing about the sendo x is its today screen iNow (that is waht it is caled) it gives you a brief overview of everything like missed calls, dialled numbers, recently opened applications etc. It was(to me) the greatest seling point of the Sendo x. The phone had some drwabacks though. One of its hardware components didnt work alright i.e the infrared. But this could not remove my love of this phone.I just loved this phone.
