Small but tough
Advantages: Durable, good reception, value for money Disadvantages: hard to find upgrades, stuck with default ringtones, etc
I bought one of these in October 2000 (just to show how long this things been around), and it was my first ever mobile phone.
I bought a Nokia N-Gage to accompany it in June 2004, but unfortunately the Trium Mars seems to have outlasted it.
The screen is a bog-standard black&white jobbie, though I think Green&black would be a more accurate description.
Don't under-estimate it just yet...... it does include WAP internet connection, SMS, a couple ... ...be added to), and 3 graphics themes. Other than that, that's pretty much all you get.
It's extremely durable, having dropped it a couple of times and had the covers & battery end up flying all over the place, the only damage that comes to it was that the sound stops working..... which can be quickly remedied by (Carefully) removing the front cover and giving the speaker a push down with your thumb and things then usually work fine after that.
The ...

Behold, the invincible phone!
Advantages: Very light, small, and with a very loud speaker Disadvantages: Few games, no more downloadables, and the wap service is very poor
This phone was my first real phone, bar one that I was given for a short period of time. It was only cheap, and cost me 20 quid at the time, plus 15 pounds worth of top up vouchers. It came with the Virgin services.
It is a simple enough phone to look at; dark grey and silver in colour, with a small black and white screen with a faint backlight. It has no ariel, and no flippy out bits. It is curved, and very small and light.
The screen is small, ... ...to games and menus and the like. However, as the wap function does not let you view images, and you can not download new games, this is kinda wasted.
The sound quality is very good as well; this is the only mobile phone I have ever owned that has a speaker phone on it. The quality of it is very good, and it is also louder than most household speaker phones. The ringtones it supports are both mono and polyphonic, and again, are very clear.

Funky Phone
Advantages: Lightweight, Funky looking Disadvantages: Funky looking
Well here is another new phone from Trium the Neptune its should be out in the shops any time now has I have had one to use for a couple of days thought I would tell u all what I think of it.
Well up until now it has to be said that mobile phones have not exactly been colourful in the UK. Just have a look the next time you’re in a phone shop think you will see what I mean. So the Neptune makes you take notice of it straight away as soon as ... ...at the Neptune it reminds you of the Apple Macintosh with its translucent plastic. Due to this you can see all the inside workings of the phone very nice if you like that kind of thing. The one I have been using had a orange flip and battery cover the neat feature of this phone is that you can remove these and customise it to any colour you like. The design makes it easy to see that the market being targeted is youth. But the plastic casing does ...

Excellent when released but is becoming obsolete
Advantages: BIG colour screen, polyphonic ring tones, enhanced experience Disadvantages: The phone is a little bulky and tends to crash in hot weather!
I’ve had my Trium Eclipse for almost a year now and even in the fast moving mobile phone market that exists today, it’s still a pretty good phone, boasting a range of features, ease of use and of course a colour screen.
The Trium Eclipse was one of the very first phones sold to the public to feature a colour screen, and that is precisely why I bought it, I do like to be ahead of everyone else, technology wise. And, generally I’m very pleased with ... ...whole new edge. Plus, not only is the phones screen colour, it’s also very big, which further enhances the mobile phone experience.
When you first switch on the phone your first presented by the word Trium flashing across your screen in a firework display, and you’re then taken to the standby display. Like any other Trium phone, the standby screen shows a picture of a butterfly that flaps it’s wings every minute, although, if butterflies aren’t ...
