Review of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time - Mark Haddon by holbabe18

Advantages: Interesting and short enough to read over a weekend.
Disadvantages: Not very gripping, slightly confusing, ending is a let down.

I did feel as though i was a little bit too young to be reading the book, and although I am only 18 now i do feel i could understand it a little more if i read it again (which i plan to). The story is based around a charactor who is 15 and has autism, the story is quirky and interesting, it is funny at times and sad at times, which, in my opinion make a good book. It does make you think and at times encourages ...
...quite difficult to get into the book and i didn't find it gripping, although i wanted to find out the outcome of the book, i wasn't engrossed in the story and was quite disapointed with the ending as it wasn't as profound or exciting as i had wanted and not very memorable.
