The Lost Throne Crowns A New King Of Adventure

Advantages: Tautly written. Plausible and engaging characters. A genuine page-turner.
Disadvantages: One or two contrived plot developments.

Crazy not to read this book!

Advantages: Easy to read and you won't want it to end
Disadvantages: It is that easy to read it ends too quickly!

I have plenty of books on my shelves at home - many that I buy and have for ages before I get a chance to read which is normally because I buy that many and most from authors I read all the time that I tend to then read my favourite authors first whilst others are still piling up! One of the latest books to grace my shelves was Chris Manby’s new one ‘Crazy in Love’. This was one I bought and read within a day just because I love her books so much! ...

I prefer netball to Cross Country

Advantages: Ok read
Disadvantages: It's not really Alex's style

...order, I've jumped from Double Cross straight to Cross Country without reading the two or three books in between, but I don't think this has spoilt my enjoyment of this book. Synopsis Alex is called on to help the investigation of the deaths of an entire family, when he gets there he realises one of them is Eleanor Cox his ex girlfriend. Witnesses have mentioned that the perpetrators, although masked seemed to be very young, they could even children. ...
