Dove Pro Age Body Cream Oil Advantages: Nice smell, it works Disadvantages: None I really like the Dove range of beauty products and use quite a lot of their offerings, deodorant, soap etc so when I was looking for a new body cream/hand cream I went straight to the Dove products. I was looking for a fairly thick, rich cream as I have had really dry hands recently so I decided upon the Dove Pro Age Body Cream Oil. A silky body anyone? Advantages: makes skin soft Disadvantages: awkward pot ...of beauty products and this Dove Body Silk is amongst them. I bought it as i wanted to give it a go, I get on very well with the Dove deoderant and the Dove soaps and so I thought I may as well give this moisturiser a go too seeing as it's cheaper than the brands I usually buy. Using the cream is very easy, it's a simple rub in cream but it does take longer than my other creams to absorb. My hands feel like they need a good wash afterwards else ... ...body is all soft and hydrated so i can see where they got the name-body silk- from! After I've applied it I do think that my skin is well nourished from using it although sometimes I don't think it's quite as effective as my other moisturisers really. What I don't like is the pot. I think it's pretty bland to look at and also the lid is really quite annoying. A lovely, natural tan! Advantages: Healthy looking skin, 2 in 1 moisturiser and self tan Disadvantages: Some people may be put off by the smell. ...in the shops and found Dove Summer Glow. summer's come... with dove!!! Advantages: Big bottle, nice packaging builds tan quickly Disadvantages: Turns orange, inside of your fingers go very orange,comes off in water Dove Summer Glow is one of the most talked of and advertised self tanning lotions this summer. It says that your skin tans better when moisturised and they have combined their intense moisturising cream with subtle self tanners to create 'Dove Summer Glow'. Price In ASDA the price of this came to £4.86, which is a reasonable price, especially seeing as the size of the bottle is quite large. Also in Boots the price is £4.89 so hardly any difference ... ...compared to other products on the market that i have tried, for me others can tend to be better value for money. My Experience It directed me to 'apply daily all over to gradually build a light tan' (i was using the fair to medium skin bottle). So i did, the first day i saw a difference in the colour of my skin but a very subtle one. They are affordable, I have never had any form of reaction to the products, they do what they say, and they all make your face, body or hair feel really soft!
