now , I dont mind people using my loo ...... visitors have to go , its a fact of life ....... but what I object to is that my lot sneak up to the bathroom just to wash their hands
" And ... " I hear you say ....... " So what ? ... "
But my family wash their hands on arrival , before meals , after meals and again before they leave

Honestly , I thought they had all developed simultaneous OCD until I realised that it had only been happening since I had begun to leave my Molton Brown liquid handwash out

My personal favourite is the Thai vert , a lovely fresh , zingy citrus- but -soft blend of lime and lemons in a liquid-light gel formulation that cleanses , kills bacteria and scents the skin beautifully

Downside ...... people do look at you a little strangely when you sit surreptitiously sniffing your fingers ...

Okay . £11 seems a lot to pay for soap , but this one really is out of the ordinary .. it is a moisturising and gentle product , and the pump bottle containing a generous 300 ml lasts for months ( if you keep it away from visitors ! )
But then again , why not spoil and impress them ?

This fine handwash is available in three very different "flavours " .. Thai vert which I have described , NaranJi , a deep and orangey version , and the newer Rose Graniti which is still quite hard to obtain
However , the Molton brown website usually has the stock and is a good place to go if you are looking for a wide choice of products , but although beautifully packaged I found their postage costs a little steep
Last time I used it I paid a little over £5 , which is okay on a larger order but a bit much for a single item such as a small eye cream

All in all , I wouldnt go back to ordinary bar soap .. no more scummy sink , sticky gummy soap dish or dried out bars that have gone slightly grey

The smart , quite minimalist bottle with the signature Molton Brown logo and silver neck ring looks smart on your basin and the pump dispenser is clean and economical

Add to that , it fragrances the whole house as the smell lingers well and wafts down your stairs

Call me self-indulgent , but this is a constant little treat that I like to share with everyone who visits my home
