    Advantages Advantages Heavenly smell, rich Black pepper will arouse your senses, refreshes and reawakens.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Pricey, lacks the ability to leave skin soft.

    It was at Christmas 2007 that I was first given a Molton Brown Christmas gift in the form of "Re-charge Black Pepper Body Wash," the product as it is known today and five years later I love returning to Molton Brown just to buy this product alone. Normally, though I associate Molton Brown with my mum as she adores the hand soap and hand gels from different ranges that she used to buy on occasion. Now that I have found out the price, it is not surprising to realise why Molton Brown is an expensive product; they are a pretty expensive company and in my experience, not all of their ranges offer ... more

    To my embarrassment I have to admit that the first time I received a bottle of Molton Brown body wash was as a Christmas present a few years ago and the first thought which went through my head was "what a cheap skate, getting me a yucky brown shower gel". It wasn't till a little while later that I learnt that this stuff is not actually that cheap and that rather than being yucky it is really nice.     Here is the first of my post-Christmas reviews - and yes, this was a pressie. And just in case the lovely donor thinks that I am ungrateful, please be assured that nothing could be further from the truth. I will gladly accept similar products as presents - it's just that I would probably not go out and buy it for myself.! Presentation Issues = The container is not exactly stunning.     I was first drawn to this product when I saw it as a top seller on another website. Once I read the discription of the product, I just had to try it for myself! I must say the first thing that I noticed prior to placing my order was that the price was quite expensive for just a body wash, but I am the sort of person to give things a try (at least once ) before deciding if it's value for money or not. When it arrived a couple of days later, my first impression was that the bottle looks quite nice and I wouldn't mind leaving this on the bathroom shelf.
