Molton Brown is a UK based company who offer a prestigious range of products specialising in skincare for the face and body, cosmetics, haircare and fragrances for men and women. I have tried many products from the Molton Brown range over the years and have always been pleased with the quality. The bath and body products in particular are just luxurious and their range of skincare products are some of the best available on the market today in my opinion.

Having always suffered with dry, chapped lips I invested in the Molton Brown Vitamin Lip Saver. At £10.00 for 15ml, this can be considered a little expensive, but the benefits far outweight the hefty price tag. There are times when a standard lip balm such as those produced by Chap Stick and other similar brands just don't offer enough moitsurisation for me, especially during the winter months. This product is much more than just a lip balm, it is a lip treatment and is extremely moisturising, soothing and effective.

The product comes in a tube with a screw cap as can be seen in the picture above. The packaging is fairly simple in design. The plastic tube is a silver/grey colour and boasts the Molten Brown logo.

The product itself is quite thick in consistency and is what I would describe as a waxy gel which is squeezed easily from a small hole in the top of the tube when the lid is removed. This is a high quality product which is enriched with Vitamin E, beeswax and honey and is very concentrated so only a little is needed. I apply this to my lips simply by squeezing a small amount onto my finger and rubbing it in gently. The effect is instant and my lips feel soothed and hydrated as soon as this is applied. The benefits of this product also have a real lasting effect. You don't need to keep applying this as you do with a standard lip balm. This product lingers on the lips and lasts, keeping my lips moisturised for longer.

After using this product for a few days, I have really noticed an extreme difference in the feel and appearance of my lips. They are now smooth to the touch and I no longer have any flaky or peeling skin which can look quite awful.
