I had odd bits of 9k gold that was starting to take over my jewelery box, single ear rings, broken gate bracelets, necklaces that had snapped so what I thought ... Read review
Advantages: nil Disadvantages: loss of all your gold
Learn from my mistake. Never never use Money4Gold. I sent £350 worth of gold and then returned their insulting £29 cheque. Over 6 weeks have passed and no effort on my part can get my gold back, they are no better than thiefs, this is now with trading standards and Watchdog. Just see then online forum reviews to get a feel for this scam which affects everyone who uses them. It is impossible to complain directly to this company, my emails are deleated ...

I sent 132g of gold off to Money4Gold - they sent me a cheque for £150 which I refused, this was immediately doubled which I also refused. I then had a month of complete hassle trying to get my items returned. In the end I threatened legal action. It was a nightmare trying to get through to them on the phone, sometimes I ended up being diverted to America, no response to emails either. It would appear the key to dealing with them is be persistent ... ...etc. Also make sure you keep a call log as evidence - I received so much conflicting information. I then used a great company in Birmingham called Loise Jewellery who paid me £1,003 for the same items! It also transpired that Money4Gold were, in my opinion, going to STEAL 30g of gold off me which they'd classed at non-precious. Over two weeks has passed and despite several phone calls and loads of excuses from them I am still waiting. Do not use this company as I am sure they have no intentions if returning anything, ...

Let's face it, recession, job losses, Christmas coming whatever the reason we could all do with a little extra cash at the minute. I had odd bits of 9k gold that was starting to take over my jewelery box, single ear rings, broken gate bracelets, necklaces that had snapped so what I thought was a good idea has turned into a bad nightmare. I had about 80 grams of scrap gold and Quidco were doing cashback for money4gold so I thought why not? So went ... ...and sent some of my gold off special delivery to Money4gold. Excitedly checking their website for the progress of their service. I finally received a cheque for £66. You think I was happy? Gutted is a accurate description of how I am feeling. The price for Gold varies from day to day but at the minute your looking at about £7.00 a gram, I sent them over 40grams so I should have received around £200 which would have been enough to buy my son a wii ...
